Also Canada is the country with the most immigrants. Therefore, Canada uses multiculturalism as a policy and in my opinion I think multiculturalism
is success.
Before the European settlers came to Canada, the Indian and Inuit lived on this land. During 1680 to 1760, the French people came here and built a
city. From 1760 to 1867, lots of people from Britain came to Canada, and the numbers of British over French people. After that, more and more people
from Europe, Africa, Asia and American came to Canada. According to the statistics of Canada, there were 35,749,600 people in Canada on April...
It leads the country going to a bright and healthy future. However, many people do not agree this policy, they doubt and criticize themulticulturalism.
The surface disadvantages of multiculturalism are education, professional, fear of influence and risk of social conflict . The children of first nation and
immigrants are hard to accommodate the new environment and influence their study. Maybe most of the results are good for the organization but it is
very hard for manage the workforce with different culture. Living in a multicultural society it is easy to be influenced by other culture and lose the own
culture because all the culture are mix together. And because of all the cultures are mixes together, the habit, the religion belief and custom will have
conflict, and then two groups will against each other. The first deeply reason is French Canadian and first nation think multiculturalism damage the
social status and benefit of them. French Canadian think two official languages policy and multiculturalism policy are mutual contradiction.
Multiculturalism reduces the equal status of French Canadian in two official languages. And first nation people think multiculturalism do not
mentioned the rights of them, and they think Canada government consider that British and French are the nation who "build" the
