• They want others to feel what they have felt and
feel justified in doing so. They also may feel a
sense of relief and vindication for what they

5. • Bullying often revolves around a person’s social
status at school. And some kids will cyberbully
others based on the school’s perceived social
ladder. Whatever the reason, kids sometimes
feel their cyberbullying behaviors are warranted
and deserved.
• As a result, these kids succumb to peer pressure
in order to be accepted at school, even if it
means going against their better judgment. They
are more concerned with fitting in than they are
worried about the consequences of
cyberbullying.

• Afraid of phones
• Drop in grades
• Losing interests in things that he or she
was passionate once
• Lack of sleep
• Fright visible on the victim’s face
• Loss of self-esteem.
7. Possible solutions:
• Restrict access to the Internet by blocking
certain websites
• Allow time-based surfing and mobile usage
• Check into the activities of the children using
any software
• Keep the password of the child account with you
and using it once in a while to check what all the
child does online
• Block people who may be harassing someone
you know
8. Possible solutions:
• To educate your children about bullies, how the
bullied suffer if they start fearing the bullies, and
to inform you as soon as anything happens
online or offline.
• Report immediately to ISP and mobile service
provider, social media sites, forums and other
websites, and school authorities (The Windows
Club, 2018)
