class and campus sizes are different. Liberty is a much larger university, but the teachers are less

I have had a total of 4 university tours. The university that I liked was GCU and NAU. I loved the
NAU campus, it was so beautiful. I really liked how the camps looked after they remodeled mostly
all the buildings. It just made the place look at more modern and I liked how that looks. Another
reason why liked NAU was because the weather up north is nice and cool. The appearance of the
school would have to be my favorite part of the NAU tour. During the tour we walked around the

As a senior in high school the time has come when people begin to ask big and sometimes
overwhelming questions like, "Where are you going to college?" and "What will be your major?"
These questions, of course, lead to college visits and decisions. The two colleges that seem to meet
my criteria are The University of Findlay and Ohio Dominican University. Both colleges have
positive aspects, such as having the major that I am interested in as well as being close to family.

The curriculum is rigorous and factors like being away from home and not knowing anyone can also
add to the anxiety. The University of Chicago provides various resources to keep the students out of
harm's way. When I got the chance to visit the campus, I noticed there were what seemed to be

Smaller Universities vs. Larger Universities Millions of students attend various universities every
semester. Some students choose to go to smaller universities because they might be close to home,
and some students decide to go with the larger ones due to the desire to be a part of the campus life
or the longing to join a sorority/fraternity; maybe they like classes that contain about 300 other
peers. Students often debate whether they should attend a smaller university or a larger university;
however, when the two are contrasted, it becomes clear that smaller universities have more
opportunities offered.
One important issue that deeply impacts a student's education are the class sizes. Bigger universities
tend to obtain classes consisting of 100 to about 600 classmates. This has the ability to negatively
affect an individual because they might be behind on a subject due to lack of understanding and are
too afraid to ask a question in front of a full class (which mostly happens because they do not want
to appear unintelligent to the other undergrads). On the other hand, if the student attended a smaller
university, the class sizes would be about 20–50 students, putting less pressure on a person to

the prospective minority student.
Adrienne Rich gave a graduation speech in which she blamed gender bias as a roadblock to women.

such privilege, success rested on their ability to "think like men" (47). For the women who have the
"privilege" of a university education, their world is now influenced and controlled by men, and

as high up the ladder of education as they desire because they lack the basic skills required by
universities. He gave many examples of struggling men and women of all racial groups who, having
the desire to learn, are routinely excluded because they have not yet learned enough. He described
the struggles of one Chinese immigrant who learned to speak English by watching television and
reading People magazine. To many immigrants, even the most basic English classes are impossible
for a non–native speaker to grasp.
