Enclosed Space Clear, can't even tell it's there. Nearly invisible but then you hit it. So massive and giant you would imagine that only a blind
person could miss it. It has camo like a marine. And holds you in like a maximum security prison. Funky smells in the air and nothing feels quite
like it should. There is no way out. The only thing that I have ever seen enter this place is myself. I forgot what it is like on the outside. Never has

What sounds like the voices of civilians. They sound like they are talking in my ear and I can't get them away. It is so disappointing because for
the slightest amount of time I actually believe that somebody has come to save me. But then my wishful thinking disappears and I come back to

I am not really fond of people being too close to me or touching me, which would challenge my own boundaries when working on this experience. I
was able to evaluate how others and myself react when in these situations that prove to be uncomfortable and awkward. For example, if I start
feeling awkward, my first reaction is that I start laughing or smiling uncontrollably, as this is my only way of compensating in thesis situations. I
was able to find out though that I am not the only person who reacts in this type of way, it is actually the most likely reaction I found. A majority
of the people with whom I had conversations with at the six inch proximity, reacted the same way. Another reaction, I observed, is many people
pulled away or backed away when I tried speak closely with them. It almost seems startling when someone breaks the social norm of personal space,

Currently, it is very difficult to send humans and spacecraft anywhere in space, let alone out of our own solar system. The cost and risk involved in

This is report is about the reactions of personal space when invaded. A total of 20 strangers were tested to see how different genders and ages react
to strangers coming to close. The experiment took place in Woden plaza where a student stood behind a subject and watched there reaction from the

The purpose of this study is to know and record different people of all age's reaction to personal space being invaded by strangers. There had been
another research conducted on the same topic and both this report and the other are similar as they both get similar results. The results have been
predicted to vary among different age groups and different times.
METHOD
Participants
This experience consisted of 20 subjects from Woden plaza varying of age and gender. It also included one student who was going to conduct the
experiment.
Materials
The Materials that were used to measure the experiment where a pen and paper to record the reactions of the subjects being tested, and the subjects
themselves.
Procedure
The participants that were going to test the subjects, rode an escalator up and down and stood behind someone and waited until the person noticed they

were there then the subject waited until off the escalator and noted what happened. This happened with all 20 people.

unaware of, and can influence you to perceive him or her in a new light. However, what you perceive about this person can be affected by a multitude
of variables, some of which may steer you into making erroneous assumptions about certain personality traits. Fortunately, Sam Gosling has
documented the important factors necessary for interpreting people's stuff and its arrangement in their rooms, offices, and various other living and
habitable spaces, even turning this "snooping" into a science to determine where each individual may fall on the spectrum of particular personality

Ever since I was a little kid, I looked up at the night sky in awe, fascinated by the infinite wonder of space. I also remember spending countless hours
learning facts about space from a science book at my grandma's house. Today, as a young adult, I look up at the stars, seeing them as destinations. As
humanity looks towards Mars, a massive engineering effort will be necessary. BothNASA and private space companies will soon require a plethora of

My drive to impact the world comes from knowing what it feels like to be helpless. Because of my various identities; black, lesbian, asexual, and

Burgoon defines personal space as, " the invisible, variable volume of space surrounding an individual that defines that individual's preferred distance

In this social norm project, my experiment was invading someone else 's personal space. The process began by sitting close to a person that was
by themselves; then, I started to get close when they looked to another direction or their phones. What normally a person would do when they

Where I received the greatest reactions was at a St. Louis Blues hockey game. When entering the Scottrade Center before a game with thousands
of other hockey fans, it becomes extremely crowed. At concerts, bars, or sporting events people should expect others to invade their personal
