Education Philosophy My philosophy is that teaching is building lifelong habits so students have the
skills, knowledge, and motivation to be successful learners. My role as a teacher is to engage
students' interest in learning, to create a supportive learning environment, and to provide resources
for all students in my classroom. My relationship with students is one of encouragement, structure
and patience. I encourage all students to be actively involved in their learning and I use a variety of
methods to encourage discussion and interaction. Some methods I frequently use in my teaching are
questioning techniques, gradual release of responsibility (I do, we do, you do), educational protocols
like pair–share, and incorporating the use of technology with students. In creating lesson plans, I
consider students' developmental needs and learning styles. As a teacher, I create a responsible
classroom that has respect, cooperation, and the belief that each student can be a successful learner. I
believe respect is earned as a teacher by being fair, firm, and friendly and I play a key role in

build a foundation of what it is to be human and part of a human society. Lacking such an essential

philosophies. I identify most with the philosophies of essentialism and perennialism. In my opinion,

We must ask ourselves "Is there a way to give a child, the needed one–to–one teacher to student
attention?" I believe the answer is simple: we need to get our students' parents interested and
involved in their own child's education. I will do this by assigning projects a child has to complete at
home with the help of an adult. I also will have an open door policy to my classroom and make

accepted. Learning takes place when students are able to have their specific needs meet inside the

reinforcement, and teaching students how to move forward after difficult moments. In my classroom
I work hard to create a positive rapport with my students by focusing on the positive moments and
achievements in the classroom. By this action I have given my students a goal to work towards
instead of a punishment to avoid. For example, instead of giving multiple reminders on behavior
management, I focus on finding students who are on track and are motivated to complete the task at
hand. By congratulating them for their choices I give other students a chance to refocus and start
over without creating a negative space. This also allows me to take a quick moment to reflect on my

Idealists believe that only the mental is ultimate reality and that the mental world of ideas is
permanent, regular and orderly (Berumen, 2014). They affirm that reality is essentially spiritual or
mental and denies the possibility of knowing anything except ideas. Idealists theorize that ultimate
reality is solely in the mind and argues that the universe is an expression of highly generalized
intelligence and will (Gutek, 1997, p. 18). In summary, Idealists believe that what exists really
exists, and cannot be changed because it is permanent, and cannot be new because it is regular.

coaches in my PE class, one was the coolest Sor. Maria she was the coolest Nun ever, and Professor
Rodrigo. We have religion teachers, in some cases there were Nuns, but not always. Teacher that
was qualified was able to teach religions as well. We had a full curriculum , with all the subjects
possible to learn including , music, craft and art.
These were taught in almost all the grades. Like a mandatory skill that needed to be learned. I do
remember all my years in school one more detailed than others. But, I remember all. My first grade
and my high school graduation, specially the last year, Whose doesn't ? The last year when was time
to say goodbye. High school graduation, where we all were Kings and Queens. That year felt like
