Something important to know is that the whole society doesn’t really know the difference
betweenbeinganassertive oran aggressive communicator.Isbecause of thisfactthat most of
the conversations doesn’t lead to good results or the wanted ones. There is an example that
whensomeonedoesn’tlikeyourmessageorjustdoesn’twanttohearyou,theypreferorchoose
to feel they are offended and you are offended.
Most of the time the speaker has beentagged as the responsible of the way or the success of
any conversation; however, nowadays this conception has changed and some of the
communication responsibility has been placed on the message receiver. Moreover, another
pointisthat we have to listenassertivelyandmanage ourresponse, itmeansthatbydoingthis
we’ll become better at hearing people without interruption, leaving apart our emotions in
stressful and conflictive situations and not taking messages or behaviors personally.
