About us
Dear learner,
This guide explains to you the usage of
the instructional package :
( The world Around Us)
About the instructional package
It is integrating educational unit that learn ( The World Around As) and teach the main principals
for students such as : new vocabulary, grammatical rules, listening and reading. The main subject
also discusses the names of animals and the solar system.
This package has been designed by organized curriculum which depends on instructional design
principals. It also presents the educational objects depending on self-learning and cooperative
learning style. Therefor, it considers the abilities and diversity of students. It guides the stu-
dent’s activities because support in educational activities and multiple evaluation ways. It com-
plains special goals that reach students to the target level.
This guide has been designed for student whose
age between 9-12 years old.
General objectives of the instructional
package: ( The world Around Us )
By the end of this course students will be:
 Identify the new vocabulary in the unit.
 Identify the rules of comparatives and superlatives.
 Read the text of the unit.

Pre-test
Activity book
Gifted learner booklet
Normal learner booklet
 Take the pre-test in the activity guide.
 Run the program by inserting the CD into the computer (read the instructions for the
system recruitments)
 After completing the educational software , do the activities in the activity guide, which you
can perform it with your colleagues.
 You can check your answers in the answer key at the end of the activity guide.
 Now you are ready to take the final test, which you will find it in the educational software.
 choose one of the enrichment books to enjoy have fun.
