2021 Work and
Experience
Sadly. in the entertainment industry,
sometimes you have to work for free to gain
exposure, i will likely be doing a lot of
composing and filmmaking for independent
projects this year, getting work where i can,
but often also working for free in order to
obtain exposure. Said Exposure, and the
connections I make in this year will likely help
me get noticed by larger companies, which will
lead to higher paid work and eventual
success.
2022 Employm-
ent
By the next year, I hope to have created a
large enough portfolio, and had enough
experience to work in the big leagues, with
feature length films and larger companies.I will
work for free far less, and hope that my
experience will be enough to work out.
My Inspiration is who other than John Williams. In terms of Film Composers, you really can't
get any more influential, no other man has won more Academy Awards other than Walt
Disney himself, and he has composed music for 8 of the movies in the top 20 highest
grossing movies of all time. He has composed the highly recognizable themes for Jaws, the
Star Wars series, Superman, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, the Indiana Jones series, the first
two Home Alone films, the first two Jurassic Park films, Schindler's List, and the first three
5. Harry Potter films. You could likely hum every single theme on that list, that's how successful
and recognizable his music is.
He inspires me because his music has been in so many movies, and he has debatably
contributed more to modern culture than any person in the world, certainly being in the top 5,
and he does it all with film music. He has been a part of nearly every large scale cultural
phenomenon of the last 40 years purely through the power of his music, and his music, large
scale orchestral music is the type i work on, so obviously i aspire to be on his level.
John was the son of a carpenter and a woodworker, His first ever Feature Length film was
Daddy-O, a comically bad movie released in 1958, showing that no matter how humble the
beginnings, that you can do whatever you want.
