Description of editing tools use to edit a picture for a Photoshop assignment.

1. For the Photoshop assignment, I chose a picture I
particularly liked and would enjoy editing. It is a picture
from the basketball season, my most exciting Marshall
experience so far as a manager. Down 2 with 0.4 seconds
left, we ran an inbounds play for James Kelly to make a
layup and send the game to Overtime. Upon James making
this basket, this image was captured of the reaction from
the bench. I cropped the borders of this pic, to take out
some of the crowd as well as more clearly focus in on just
our players. After cropping the picture, I added more
brightness to the image. I enhanced the colors in this image
as well. After doing this editing, I used a ColorSplash
technique which changes the picture to black and white,
and then one can edit where and how much color appears.
Being at home and our main color being Kelly Green, I
wanted to really capture this and the players in the photo. I
made everything else black and white, and changed all
Kelly green in the photo to color so that this would be the
only colot jumping out at the viewer. After doing this, I
edited the contrast in the photo to add some more shadows
and enhance the black and white. Lastly, I added a black
fade border to more center what I want the viewer to see.
