Student College teacher must have a flexible schedule, but they may or may
not be able to pick the classes they are going to teach each term. Student college
teacher might work based on the instruction given by his/her coordinating teacher.
The campus environment can be a stimulating and interesting place for student

Student College teachers should be strong communicators who
easily relate to students. They need to be encouraging, outgoing and
motivating but also objective since they grade their students.

• Copy editors are often responsible for page layout. They write headlines
for articles and determine where photographs and advertisements will be
placed. A copy editor may modify a text by reducing length to fit
publishing requirements or page layout constraints. Copy editors also
work closely with writers to suggest copy revisions and improvements.
• Accuracy in written work is important, and copy editors are responsible
for verifying facts. Research is often necessary to ensure that statistics,
dates and names are correct. Copy editors also ensure that writing voice
and style are consistent with the publication's standards. Revisions may
be made to paragraph order and sentence structure to improve
readability.
8. STENOGRAPHER
• The goal of a stenographer is to stenograph verbatim what attorneys,
witnesses, and others are saying in a proceeding.
• A court reporter or court stenographer also
called stenotype operator, shorthand reporter or law reporter, is a
person whose transcribe spoken or recorded speech into written form,
using machine shorthand or voice writing equipment to produce official
transcripts of court hearings, deposition and other official proceedings.
Court reporting companies primarily serve private law firms, local, state
and federal government agencies, courts, trade associations, meeting
planners and non-profits.
9. STENOGRAPHER
• A Stenographer create a transcript of legal proceedings and other events where
spoken words must be preserved. There are 3 types of court reporters:
Stenographers type what was said into a stenotype machine, Electronic Reporters
use audio recording equipment while taking notes and Voice Writers speak into a
mask containing a recorder and voice silencer. Electronic reporters produce a written
transcript later. Voice writers have the capability of producing real-time feed. The
training required to be a court reporter depends on the specialization.
• The law requires accurate recordings of all official legal proceedings in a courtroom
and for some other public settings. Court reporters, or court stenographers,
transcribe what is said at legal proceedings and public events. Word-for-word
transcription of everything that happens in a courtroom is a difficult job, and court
stenographers receive extensive training in the use of stenotype machines so they
can keep up with rapid dialogue.
10. STENOGRAPHER
• Court stenographers entering the profession are generally required to complete a
two- to four-year associate's degree program before becoming licensed to
practice. Stenography training programs include phonetics and grammar,
courtroom procedures and legal terminology. Stenography students also spend a
great deal of time practicing with a stenotype machine, and learning how to
prepare and edit transcripts.
• Court stenographers use a stenotype machine to record everything said in a
courtroom. Stenotype machines work by using key combinations to form whole
words, rather than having to type out every letter in a word. Court reporters also
detail the gestures and actions of participants, and review and confirm speakers
and technical terminology, as well as edit for accuracy. The transcript of the court
stenographer becomes the official legal record of the proceeding.
