2. SUMMARY
 Staff is seeking a Resolution authorizing the
City Manager to enter into a one-year
extension to the current canine sheltering
agreement with 4DogSake Rescue (4DSR)

3. BACKGROUND
 COAH has had multiple contract periods since
2010 with 4DSR, formerly Alamo Heights
Kennel Club
 4DSR has agreed to a one year extension of
the current agreement
 The agreement includes a termination clause

4. POLICY ANALYSIS
 The proposed action is consistent with COAH
efforts to safely hold stray or abandoned
canines in a safe and humane environment

5. FISCAL IMPACT
 No change in the fee structure
 Costs related to boarding and veterinarian
services are projected in the police department
budget

6. COORDINATION
 The City Attorney has reviewed the proposed
Resolution and Agreement
