• The Texas Racial Profiling Law was created in 2001
with passage of Senate Bill 1074
• Senate Bill 1849 (Sandra Bland Act) was passed by
the 85th Legislature in May 2017 creating new data
collection requirements
• In accordance with Article 2.134 of the CCP, the
Alamo Heights Police Department has collected the
required data and prepared the mandated annual

• The annual report also compares statistical data to
the 2010 US Census data of Alamo Heights, San

verify the Alamo Heights Police Department has complied
with all the requirements set forth in the Texas Racial
Profiling Law
• There were no public or internal reports made regarding
biased treatment by an officer during the reporting period
January 1, 2018 thru December 31, 2018.
