Social media has become an effective tool for prescription
drug advertisement, however, it is unregulated which could
mean the information provided can be unreliable especially
when not obtained from authentic source.

Title of Paper
A basic paper consists of an introduction, body, and
conclusion. The introductory paragraph presents the topic of
the paper and typically summarizes the main points and ends
with a thesis. The body of the paper covers the main points and
normally includes citations to sources that support the author’s
claims and information. Papers should end with a conclusion.
Conclusions normally summarize the main points that were
addressed, without introducing new content.
The final portion of the paper is the references section.
The references section gives complete information about all of
the sources that are cited in the paper. For Rasmussen papers,
the reference section follows APA formatting rules. For more

Code of Ethics:
Module 5 discusses how companies promote ethical behavior
and the role of ethics in organizations. With this in mind,
discuss the following points in the form of an essay, as if you
are the owner of a small business.
· Write a code of ethics to guide employee behavior in your
company. List a minimum of 4 principles and practices that you
would include in your code of ethics that would align with the
culture that you are trying to create for your company.
· How does your code of ethics or ethical plan align with your
major goals?
· How will you ensure that employees are representing the
company with integrity and ethical behavior?

1. Taking care of our people:
The key to our success is treating people well. We do this by
encouraging associates to speak up and take risks, by
recognizing and rewarding good performance and by leading
and developing people so they may grow.

Required Format
Use the required format to address the questions below in the
form of an essay. Your essay should include the following:
· The paper should be double-spaced in a Word document and a
minimum of 1-2 pages in length.
· Choose a minimum of 2 academic sources for your research,
such as a book (other than your textbook) or an academic
scholarly journal. Academic scholarly journals can be accessed
through the Rasmussen Online Library. For business sources,
ProQuest and EBSCO Host are helpful. Include your sources in
an APA formatted reference page. Include an APA formatted
title page
Include references page with the URL’s to the websites where
information was obtained.
My small company is called PRESS PLAY and is a video
game/board game store located in Oceana, WV.

Lee, A. (2011). Improving the adoption of electronic health
record in the US—Lessons from the UK, Denmark, and Canada.
Public Health Capstone Course Report. Michigan State
University.
This article compares the successful adoption of the EHR
systems by other countries to that of the US. The study reported
that in the United States, the number of health care providers
using the electronic health records systems is 30%. The article
states the importance of implementing the system. It states that
giving the healthcare systems financial incentives is not
sufficient. The government and medical associations must also
be fully committed to adopt the system. Other requirements
provided include a clear statement of the healthcare policies and
standards. This aids in the success for EHR adoption
nationwide.
Ludwick, D. A., & Doucette, J. (2009). Adopting electronic
medical records in primary care: lessons learned from health
information systems implementation experience in seven
countries. International journal of medical informatics, 78(1),
22-31.
This article identifies the current knowledge regarding the
adoption of health information systems. The goal of the study is
to understand the factors that affect the implementation
outcomes of previous health information systems. Factors that
affect the implementation as identified by this review include
design quality of the graphic user interface, feature
functionality, users’ previous experiences and project
management and procurement. Other factors identified include
the concerns about staff anxiety. Quality of care, time factors,
liability, finances and efficiency. From the article, we see that
quality of care patient/provider relations and patient care are
not affected by the implementation of the system.
DesRoches, C. M., Campbell, E. G., Rao, S. R., Donelan, K.,
Ferris, T. G., Jha, A., ... & Blumenthal, D. (2008). Electronic
health records in ambulatory care—a national survey of
physicians. New England Journal of Medicine, 359(1), 50-60.
This article assesses the adoption of the EHR by physicians. It
also assesses their satisfaction using the system, recognizes the
effects of the system on quality of care, perceived barriers of
adoption and other factors. According to the study, physicians
believe that using the system will improve quality of care. They
are also satisfied with using the system. Previous adopters of
the system may however differ from the later adopters. This
article is helpful in understanding the perception of the
physicians regarding the use of EHR systems.
You have been conducting research on your healthcare
marketing project. As you have been researching, you have been
finding sources for your project and developing your annotated
bibliography. Your annotated bibliography should include at
least three sources, though your final research project needs to
use at least five or six sources.
In the annotated bibliography, for each of your sources, include
a summary of the source, an evaluation of it, and a description
of the source's usefulness.
Will be sending an Annotated Bibliography example and last
week’s outline/thesis statement to go by – should be in APA
style with URL’s of the websites used to get the information.

Public Health Capstone Course Report. Michigan State University. This article compares the successful adoption of the EHR systems by other countries to that of the US. The study reported that in the United States, the number of health care providers using the electronic health records systems is 30%. The article states the importance of implementing the system. It states that giving the healthcare systems financial incentives is not sufficient. The government and medical associations must also be fully committed to adopt the system. Other requirements provided include a clear statement of the healthcare policies and standards. This aids in the success for EHR adoption nationwide. Ludwick, D. A., & Doucette, J. (2009). Adopting electronic medical records in primary care: lessons learned from health information systems implementation experience in seven countries. International journal of medical informatics, 78(1), 22-31. This article identifies the current knowledge regarding the adoption of health information systems. The goal of the study is to understand the factors that affect the implementation outcomes of previous health information systems. Factors that affect the implementation as identified by this review include design quality of the graphic user interface, feature functionality, users’ previous experiences and project management and procurement. Other factors identified include the concerns about staff anxiety. Quality of care, time factors, liability, finances and efficiency. From the article, we see that quality of care patient/provider relations and patient care are not affected by the implementation of the system.

New England Journal of Medicine, 359(1), 50-60. This article assesses the adoption of the EHR by physicians. It also assesses their satisfaction using the system, recognizes the effects of the system on quality of care, perceived barriers of adoption and other factors. According to the study, physicians believe that using the system will improve quality of care. They are also satisfied with using the system. Previous adopters of the system may however differ from the later adopters. This article is helpful in understanding the perception of the physicians regarding the use of EHR systems. You have been conducting research on your healthcare marketing project. As you have been researching, you have been finding sources for your project and developing your annotated bibliography. Your annotated bibliography should include at least three sources, though your final research project needs to use at least five or six sources. In the annotated bibliography, for each of your sources, include a summary of the source, an evaluation of it, and a description of the source's usefulness. Will be sending an Annotated Bibliography example and last week’s outline/thesis statement to go by – should be in APA style with URL’s of the websites used to get the information.
