SURVEY ON MOVIES WATCHED BY KSU
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Thesis Statement
This paper is based on research carried out to find out the most
favorite movie genres that are watched by KSU international
students and the main reasons behind their preferences. The
paper will further discuss if the students of different ages and
nationalities have different preferences and reasons to their
choices.
List of popular movies in 2014 and recommendations
I will list and explain in little details the ten best movies
realized in 2014 as TIME listed it. It is also important to note
that the list may differ because a movie can be interesting to
one person and boring to the other. Also, these movies are the
top ten best movies of the first half of 2014 as TIME tend to
release the best movies of the year late in the calendar. The ten
best movies are listed below:
1. The Grand Budapest Hotel
Gustav H. (Ralph Fiennes) is the faultless caretaker for an
extravagant guest house in a fictional Eastern Europe nation
about to capitulate its luxe to the monsters of battle. Wes
Anderson’s stroke of genius is a dizzyingly multifaceted
apparatus whose mechanisms are an enchantment to feast your
eyes on. The movie is rated 4 star at 8.1/10 (Richard, 2014).
2. The Lego Movie
Administrators Phil Lord and Christopher Miller seizure those
blocky, temperament undersupplied toys into corporeal,
enchanting movie stars. It’s the unsurpassed animated feature
since, well, frozen. This movie is also rated 4 stars at 7.8/10.
3. Jodorowsky’s Dune
45 years ago, nutsy auteur Alexander Jodorowsky premeditated
an extravagant movie of Frank Herbert’s Dune novels. It

wrathful artist.

5. Only Lovers Left Alive
Twenty centuries old vampires fell in love: that is the
tremendous impeccable twosome played by Tilda Swinton and
Tom Hiddleston, in Jim Jarmusch’s fascinatingly saccharine
affection and adoration story for the eternities. Rated 3 and a
half star at 7.3/10.
6. Noah
Darren Aronofsky chances God’s firstly animal keeper into a
survivalist who acquires the Creator’s purgative, disparaging
memorandum in visions. Russell Crowe provides an impractical
impressiveness to this dead-thoughtful, intensely motivated
Biblical epic.Rated 3 star at 5.9/10.
7. Night Moves
Starting from Crowe the eco-freak to Jesse Eisenberg the eco-
terrorist. As an alternative to constructing an ark, he desires to
knock down a dam. Kelly Reinhardt’s governmental allegory
carbuncles with soundless wrath and detonates with the ferocity
of principles gone wrong. This movie is rated 3 star at 6/10.
8. Edge of Tomorrow
Tom Cruise, approximately 52 but still G.I.-Joe suitable, is a
soldier whose obligation keep reviving — and re-dying in — a
gory combat with extraterrestrial monstrosities in Europe.
Private Ryan encounters Groundhog Day in the time
summertime skinniest action fiction. This movie is rated 4 star
at 7.9/10.
9. Stranger by the Lake
Two men homosexual in love takes their mysterious inclinations
at a French lakeside where a murderer anticipates. The rigidity

Greek cheese and malpractice. Seven years subsequently the
homoerotic 300, nonchalant, scrumptious Eva Green creates
fighting a game both sexes can play, on approximately equal
terms. This movie is rated 3 stars at 6.3/10. This is the best
movie among all these despite the low ratings. You will enjoy
watching this epic movie of a great Greek empire (TIME, 2015).
Movies KSU International Students love to watch
This survey in the form of the questionnaire was done, and 22
students were chosen to represent the whole school. The
students were chosen through random sampling that is a method
that renders everybody to have an equal chance of being chosen.
11 male and 11 female students were chosen randomly, and they
listed ten movies that they loved in 2014. The movies they
chose were not in line with the TIME list of the top ten best
movies of 2014. This is normal because different people can
like a movie different, and one man's meat is another man's
poison.
To successfully conduct this study I had the 22 students agree
and list ten movies they loved. The list was as follows: X-men
days of the future, It follows, Kingsman: The Secret Service,
The Lego Movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Only
Lovers Left, From Vegas to Macau, Shanghai Noon and Night,
Guardians of Galaxy and The Imitation game. As I mentioned,
earlier this list will differ from that of TIME magazine. The
survey results were tabulated in the table below:

everyone thought was impossible.
Analysis of the survey
From the survey, the most loved movie includes The Imitation
Game, Guardians of the Galaxy, Shanghai Noon and Night and
X-men days of the future. From the survey, more males prefer
movies that are based on science fiction and intelligence while
female prefer comedies and romance and both male and female
love animation movies almost equally. The science fiction
movies are the most watched movies according to this survey
and the reason for this is that these movies cut across the board
as science is universal and acceptable in all cultures.
Classification of the survey detail accord to age
The movies loved by people aged 28 years and above include
the following:
· The Imitation Game
· X-men Days of the Future
· Guardian of the Galaxy
· Only Lovers Alive
· Menahi
Reasons why people aged 28 year and above love these movies
The Imitation Game is loved because of the abilities of one
Alan Turing in mathematics and how he assisted in the coming
up of the Enigma machine. The political struggle behind is what
many adults would love to watch. Most of the people aged 28
and above consider themselves old enough not to joke around
and, therefore, they watch ‘serious stuff'. The Imitation Game is
the perfect ‘serious stuff' for them. Some also claim that they
admire the abilities of Turing and he is a role model to many of
them who are currently in the university ready to put their skills
into practice when they are done with university education.
Also, the sad part in this movie breaks the hearts of many
because most people in this age bracket love movies that have
no happy ending. Turing at the end of the movie is prosecuted
for being a homosexual.
X-men days of the future apart from being a science fiction
movie there are little aspects of romance in it but in a little bit.
These people love this movie for the idea that the professor
chooses that his team may go back in time and change the
actions of Mystiques and save her life and their lives at the
same time. These people are fascinated with the movie because
of the concept of going back 50 years back in time. This makes
them realize what they had not seen before; Professor Charles
Xavier liked Mystique, and he is hoping that things will be good
again between them. Logan also does the impossible by bringing
changing the future and those superheroes that dies came back
including Jean Grey and Scott Summers. This is what amazes
everyone in this age category.
The Guardian of the Galaxy is loved because of the Tree that
could talk, “I am Groot” and the teddy bear that kept on
complaining. The people fall in love with this movie because it
is a science fiction attempting to define how the world can be in
the future. The movie also depicts the love a child can have for
a mother; Peter Quill remembers her mother even after being
taken out of this world and raised in a strange world of aliens.
He carries with him a player and listens to music that her
mother gave him. The idea that a son can love the mother that
way fascinates many people to watch this movie.
Only Lovers Alive is loved by people in this age because most
of them are looking for love. The story of the two vampire
lovers inspires many that have lost hope in romance and
adoration to keep pursuing their dream partners till they get
them. It also gives hope to those who have already found their
partners to keep on loving each other till death do them part.
Menai is a comedy that makes people laugh. It is loved because
of the reason that it is among the first movies to be released in
Saudi Arabia and being the first one it has done much better
than most movies, and it is hilarious enough.
List of Movies loved by 20 years old or so
The people of this age are excited with intelligence and
superhero action and science fiction movies.
· Shanghai Noon and Night
· X-men Days of the Future
· Guardian of the Galaxy
· Captain America: The Winter Soldier
· Kingsman the Secret Service
Reasons why these movies are loved by 20 years old or so
Shanghai Noon and Night are two movies in one, and they are
Chinese American movies that are based on action and comedy.
The fact that Jackie Chan is in this movie makes it very
interesting and fascinating for the people of this age to enjoy.
Jackie Chan is one of the funniest Chinese actors who act both
action movies and comedies. The use of martial arts to expose
the corruption and the plot to kill the queen is amazing, and this
encourages many people to believe in themselves. They can
bring change with what they have, they don't have to be like
someone else.
The lovers of X-men Days of the future past love the idea used
in the movie of having mutants with superpowers. The actions
in this movie are amazing and at some point turn out hilarious.
The survey revealed that the people in this age love the scene
where Eric is being rescued from the most secured building on
earth, the Pentagon.
Guardians of the Galaxy are liked because of the great team
created by Peter Quill. The team is a good combination of
different entities Drax, Groot, Rocket, Gamora and Quill
himself. They travel to save the world from Thanos and Ronan.
Everybody in this age longs to be a hero at a point in their life.
Thus the movie is fascinating and breathes taking to watch.
Captain America or the Winter Soldier is loved because of its
connection with a very much loved series, Marvel Agents of
Shield. The fact that it has also be released by the Marvel
Comics in conjunction with Walt Disney Studios Motion
Pictures. They also love the idea that secret agents of SHIELD
working for the counter-terrorism STRIKE are sent to rescue
hostages who are aboard a SHIELD vessel.
Kingsman, the Secret Service, is a spy action and comedy movie
released early this year. This movie is loved because it is the
whole package; it has the best action, spy and also comedy.
Also the fact that the movie begins by a secret service agent
giving himself up to save the rest of the team makes the lovers
of this movie feel that they have to watch the rest of it see if the
sacrifice of this agent was worth it.

From the results, it is obvious that the people aged 28, and
above are interested in movies that have romance and adoration
and also a comedy. Even the movies that are based on science
fiction and action, they like them because of the little romance
in them. They also love movies that show intelligence in the
context of using brains and their abilities to solve problems.
Also from the results, the people aged 20 are interested in
comedies, science fiction, and spy movies.
Classification of the survey by Gender
As I mentioned earlier, the survey involved 11 males and 11
females randomly selected to fairly represent the whole school.
It is obvious that some movies are like more by females and
others liked more by males. The table on the next page shows
the movies that are liked by different genders and those that are
liked by both genders.

According to these results women love these movies because
they have romance and love story. Research shows that women
love watching the movies with romance because they get ideas
on how to go about their relationships. These movies expand
their points of view, and they do not prefer movies with lots of
fight and chaos. According the survey and the questionnaires
the women claimed that the romance in the movies they watch
ultimately affects the way they perceive things such as love,
romance, friendship, trust, and fidelity. A few women claimed
that these movies, for example, ‘Only Lovers Left Alive' gets
them in the mood for romance. Women also love funny movies
and comedies because they make them relax and laugh and for a
moment forget their problems if they have any. A movie like the
one titled ‘It-follows’ makes them have the courage to face their
fears and problems.
There are also movies that do not fall in either category because
they are almost equally loved by both sexes. Most of these
movies are comedies and animated movies and movies that
concern intelligence ability of human beings and solving human
problems without the use of supernatural problems. Some of
them include Menachi, Shanghai Noon and Night, From Vegas
to Macau and Imitation Game.
On the other hand, most guys are interested in mystery movies
that are based on science fiction. The survey revealed that they
enjoy these movies because they broaden their mind and
enriches their perspective. They also claim that science fiction
movies guide their thoughts and most of the time, they bring the
inspiration for new inventions. Apart from being their source of
entertainment they also allow them to have glance upon the
distant future of how the world would be like maybe in 100
years' time. Other males claimed that the mystery in the science
fiction movies, give them something to think about or food for
thought. Finally, others claim that science fiction movies are
related to their studies and watching them, make them feel like
they are learning new things that will help them in their studies.
Comparing the two results
From the results, male love watching science fiction movies
more than any other movie and, on the other hand, female love
watching movies with love and romance in them. Movies
enjoyed by both genders are comedies, dramas, and animated
movies.
Classification of the survey by different countries
Most movies listed are American, two are Chinese and one is
from Saudi Arabia. The Chinese movies include: Shanghai Noon
and Night and From Vegas to Macau. The movie from Saudi
Arabia is the comedy titled menace. The majority of the movies
mentioned are from America and they are as follows: Imitation
Game, Guardian of the Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter
Soldier, X-Men Days of the Future Past, Only Lover Left Alive
and It- follows among many others.
Those who prefer the Chinese movies claim that they love the
fact that the movies are natural. No use of equipment and the
protagonists defeat their challenges by the use of the hand. The
movies emphasize on the power of the mind and spirit in order
to overcome challenges, unlike the other movies that emphasize
on the use of superior equipment and unrealistic powers. Also,
the lovers of the Chinese movies claim that they love the
martial arts performed in those movies.
The movie industry in Saudi Arabia is not that big, and it is just
at the beginning. The movie Menachi is not that popular in the
whole world but trust you me, it is a big success in Saudi
Arabia. Those who love this movie mainly love it because they
tend to promote the movie industry of the country and their
culture. The movie is also a comedy based on the customs of the
people of Saudi Arabia and, therefore, they get it very hilarious
and fascinating to watch.
Finally, the movies from America are always rated the best of
all times. America produces more movies than any other country
in the world. Seven out of the movies listed are American, and
they are watched worldwide. People love these movies because
the creativity involved in making them and the use of superior
technology in the making of the movies. Most of the movies are
science fiction that inspire many of the people who love the
American movies. Most students also love this movie because
they are a source of entertainment, and also they can be used for
education purposes.
Comparing these results
The movies from Saudi Arabia are less common in the
university, and very few students watch them. The survey
revealed that the movie industry in Saudi Arabia is still young
and also students who prefer their movies are also few. But it is
expected that with time the number of students watching the
movies from Saudi Arabia will increase because the country has
a promising future in the movie industry because it is
anticipated to grow over the coming years. The Chinese movies
are relatively watched in the university, and the reason for this
is that, the Chinese movie industry has been in the market for a
very long time. China also boasts of some of the re-known
actors such as Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and the late Bruce Lee.
These movies are hilarious and fascinating to watch and
furthermore, they have very interesting actions and for this
reasons a relatively high number of students watch the Chinese
movies. America is the ‘father' of movies, and they boast of
numerous famous actors. They boast of superior technology for
faster and quality production of movies and for this reason they
have so many movies released at ago. They are also creative
when it comes to science fiction movies that are enjoyed by the
majority of the movie watchers in the university.
Which Movie is Attractive to Watch?
When it comes to finding information about movies, students
are the best. They only need an internet connection that is
almost free in the University and a laptop, smartphone or a
related device. From these devices, they access various movies
sites and find out which movies have been released and which
are to be released and when they are being shown in big
cinemas such IMAX. Some students also go to movie stores and
ask for the latest movies, but this method is slow and
uncommon among many students.
The survey showed that the majority of the students use the
internet to access information about a movie and even get the
movie and watch it. This makes the internet as the best source
for students in the university to acquire movies. With the free
Wi-Fi connection in the university and the fact that all students
have laptops, tablets, or smart phones, they can either download
or streamline the movies and watch them. Most students do not
like the movie store method because they end up wasting time
and end up having spent more just to get a movie. The cost for
purchasing a DVD or a Blu-ray Disk discourages many from
visiting movies stores and also after watching these movies the
DVDs become useless. A few students will also prefer to find
information about a movie on the internet and then go and
watch the movie in cinemas like IMAX and others. They claim
that they love the big screens and actions movies look better on
them.
Conclusion
This paper has given the results of a survey conducted at KSU
and 22 students involved. Various reasons were given as to why
they loved certain movies. The movies loved by the students
include the following: X-men days of the future, It follows,
Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Lego Movie, Captain
America: The Winter Soldier, Only Lovers Left, From Vegas to
Macau, Shanghai Noon and Night, Guardians of Galaxy and The
Imitation game.
Some of the reasons why Chinese movies are loved is because
of the martial arts and their ability to create very funny action
movies. Saudi Arabia movies are few and less common in the
university, but they have a promising future because the
industry is just beginning. The American movies are the most
enjoyed movies in the university. They show creativity in the
field of science, and this inspires many students especially
those in the field of science.

  • 1. Running Head: SURVEY ON MOVIES WATCHED BY KSU INTL STUDENTS 1 SURVEY ON MOVIES WATCHED BY KSU INTL STUDENTS 17 Survey on Movies Watched by KSU International Students Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation SURVEY ON MOVIES WATCHED BY KSU INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Thesis Statement This paper is based on research carried out to find out the most favorite movie genres that are watched by KSU international students and the main reasons behind their preferences. The paper will further discuss if the students of different ages and nationalities have different preferences and reasons to their choices. List of popular movies in 2014 and recommendations I will list and explain in little details the ten best movies realized in 2014 as TIME listed it. It is also important to note that the list may differ because a movie can be interesting to
  • 2. one person and boring to the other. Also, these movies are the top ten best movies of the first half of 2014 as TIME tend to release the best movies of the year late in the calendar. The ten best movies are listed below: 1. The Grand Budapest Hotel Gustav H. (Ralph Fiennes) is the faultless caretaker for an extravagant guest house in a fictional Eastern Europe nation about to capitulate its luxe to the monsters of battle. Wes Anderson’s stroke of genius is a dizzyingly multifaceted apparatus whose mechanisms are an enchantment to feast your eyes on. The movie is rated 4 star at 8.1/10 (Richard, 2014). 2. The Lego Movie Administrators Phil Lord and Christopher Miller seizure those blocky, temperament undersupplied toys into corporeal, enchanting movie stars. It’s the unsurpassed animated feature since, well, frozen. This movie is also rated 4 stars at 7.8/10. 3. Jodorowsky’s Dune 45 years ago, nutsy auteur Alexander Jodorowsky premeditated an extravagant movie of Frank Herbert’s Dune novels. It certainly not got completed, but this captivating documented confirms that, at 83, Jodorowsky still has the supremacy of a wrathful artist. 4. Captain American: The Winter Soldier Hail HYDRA!” gossip United States Senators is trustworthy to Marvel Humorists preferred Nazi social club. Steve Rogers, commonly recognized as Captain America, seizures Edward Snowden with much more muscles in this greater consequence — an excitement journey into suspicion. This movie is 3 and half star at 6.8/10. 5. Only Lovers Left Alive Twenty centuries old vampires fell in love: that is the tremendous impeccable twosome played by Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston, in Jim Jarmusch’s fascinatingly saccharine affection and adoration story for the eternities. Rated 3 and a half star at 7.3/10. 6. Noah

Night Moves Starting from Crowe the eco-freak to Jesse Eisenberg the eco- terrorist. As an alternative to constructing an ark, he desires to knock down a dam. Kelly Reinhardt’s governmental allegory carbuncles with soundless wrath and detonates with the ferocity of principles gone wrong. This movie is rated 3 star at 6/10. 8. Edge of Tomorrow Tom Cruise, approximately 52 but still G.I.-Joe suitable, is a soldier whose obligation keep reviving — and re-dying in — a gory combat with extraterrestrial monstrosities in Europe. Movies KSU International Students love to watch This survey in the form of the questionnaire was done, and 22 students were chosen to represent the whole school. The students were chosen through random sampling that is a method that renders everybody to have an equal chance of being chosen.
  • 4. 11 male and 11 female students were chosen randomly, and they listed ten movies that they loved in 2014. The movies they chose were not in line with the TIME list of the top ten best movies of 2014. This is normal because different people can like a movie different, and one man's meat is another man's poison. To successfully conduct this study I had the 22 students agree and list ten movies they loved. The list was as follows: X-men days of the future, It follows, Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Lego Movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Only Lovers Left, From Vegas to Macau, Shanghai Noon and Night, Guardians of Galaxy and The Imitation game. As I mentioned, earlier this list will differ from that of TIME magazine. The survey results were tabulated in the table below: Movie TIME Magazine Rating Number of students who love the movie Male Students who love the movie Female students who love the movie. Reason for loving the movie X-Men days of the Future. 8.1/10 15 10 5 For the lovers of this movie, they claim that it has some aspects of fiction and romance. Guardians of the Galaxy 8.1/10 17 11 6 Those who love this movie claim the love the idea that it is based on Marvel Comics. To them anything related to Marvel Comics and superheroism is good enough to watch (Sylt, 2015). The Imitation Game. 8.1/10 16 9 7 The lovers of this movies love the thrilling story behind it and the abilities of one Alan Turing, who solved the puzzle of Enigma Code. The lovers of this movie claim they love it because, they want to be problem solvers. Do things that everyone thought was impossible. Analysis of the survey
  • 7. From the survey, the most loved movie includes The Imitation Game, Guardians of the Galaxy, Shanghai Noon and Night and X-men days of the future. From the survey, more males prefer movies that are based on science fiction and intelligence while female prefer comedies and romance and both male and female love animation movies almost equally. The science fiction movies are the most watched movies according to this survey and the reason for this is that these movies cut across the board as science is universal and acceptable in all cultures. Classification of the survey detail accord to age The movies loved by people aged 28 years and above include the following: · The Imitation Game · X-men Days of the Future · Guardian of the Galaxy · Only Lovers Alive · Menahi Reasons why people aged 28 year and above love these movies The Imitation Game is loved because of the abilities of one Alan Turing in mathematics and how he assisted in the coming up of the Enigma machine. The political struggle behind is what many adults would love to watch. Most of the people aged 28 and above consider themselves old enough not to joke around and, therefore, they watch ‘serious stuff'. The Imitation Game is the perfect ‘serious stuff' for them. Some also claim that they admire the abilities of Turing and he is a role model to many of them who are currently in the university ready to put their skills into practice when they are done with university education. Also, the sad part in this movie breaks the hearts of many because most people in this age bracket love movies that have no happy ending. Turing at the end of the movie is prosecuted for being a homosexual. X-men days of the future apart from being a science fiction movie there are little aspects of romance in it but in a little bit. These people love this movie for the idea that the professor chooses that his team may go back in time and change the
  • 8. actions of Mystiques and save her life and their lives at the same time. These people are fascinated with the movie because of the concept of going back 50 years back in time. This makes them realize what they had not seen before; Professor Charles Xavier liked Mystique, and he is hoping that things will be good again between them. Logan also does the impossible by bringing changing the future and those superheroes that dies came back including Jean Grey and Scott Summers. This is what amazes everyone in this age category. The Guardian of the Galaxy is loved because of the Tree that could talk, “I am Groot” and the teddy bear that kept on complaining. The people fall in love with this movie because it is a science fiction attempting to define how the world can be in the future. The movie also depicts the love a child can have for a mother; Peter Quill remembers her mother even after being taken out of this world and raised in a strange world of aliens. He carries with him a player and listens to music that her mother gave him. The idea that a son can love the mother that way fascinates many people to watch this movie. Only Lovers Alive is loved by people in this age because most of them are looking for love. The story of the two vampire lovers inspires many that have lost hope in romance and adoration to keep pursuing their dream partners till they get them. It also gives hope to those who have already found their partners to keep on loving each other till death do them part. Menai is a comedy that makes people laugh. It is loved because of the reason that it is among the first movies to be released in Saudi Arabia and being the first one it has done much better than most movies, and it is hilarious enough. List of Movies loved by 20 years old or so The people of this age are excited with intelligence and superhero action and science fiction movies. · Shanghai Noon and Night · X-men Days of the Future · Guardian of the Galaxy · Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  • 9. · Kingsman the Secret Service Reasons why these movies are loved by 20 years old or so Shanghai Noon and Night are two movies in one, and they are Chinese American movies that are based on action and comedy. The fact that Jackie Chan is in this movie makes it very interesting and fascinating for the people of this age to enjoy. Jackie Chan is one of the funniest Chinese actors who act both action movies and comedies. The use of martial arts to expose the corruption and the plot to kill the queen is amazing, and this encourages many people to believe in themselves. They can bring change with what they have, they don't have to be like someone else. The lovers of X-men Days of the future past love the idea used in the movie of having mutants with superpowers. The actions in this movie are amazing and at some point turn out hilarious. The survey revealed that the people in this age love the scene where Eric is being rescued from the most secured building on earth, the Pentagon. Guardians of the Galaxy are liked because of the great team created by Peter Quill. The team is a good combination of different entities Drax, Groot, Rocket, Gamora and Quill himself. They travel to save the world from Thanos and Ronan. Everybody in this age longs to be a hero at a point in their life. Thus the movie is fascinating and breathes taking to watch. Captain America or the Winter Soldier is loved because of its connection with a very much loved series, Marvel Agents of Shield. The fact that it has also be released by the Marvel Comics in conjunction with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. They also love the idea that secret agents of SHIELD working for the counter-terrorism STRIKE are sent to rescue hostages who are aboard a SHIELD vessel. Kingsman, the Secret Service, is a spy action and comedy movie released early this year. This movie is loved because it is the whole package; it has the best action, spy and also comedy. Also the fact that the movie begins by a secret service agent giving himself up to save the rest of the team makes the lovers
  • 10. of this movie feel that they have to watch the rest of it see if the sacrifice of this agent was worth it. Comparison of the results Age 20 Age 28 Shanghai Noon and Night The Imitation Game X-Men Days of the Future Past X-Men Days of the Future Past Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians of the Galaxy Captain America: The Winter Soldier Only Lovers Alive Kingsman the Secret Service Menachi From the results, it is obvious that the people aged 28, and above are interested in movies that have romance and adoration and also a comedy. Even the movies that are based on science fiction and action, they like them because of the little romance in them. They also love movies that show intelligence in the context of using brains and their abilities to solve problems. Also from the results, the people aged 20 are interested in comedies, science fiction, and spy movies. Classification of the survey by Gender As I mentioned earlier, the survey involved 11 males and 11 females randomly selected to fairly represent the whole school. It is obvious that some movies are like more by females and others liked more by males. The table on the next page shows the movies that are liked by different genders and those that are liked by both genders. Movies liked by males Movies liked by female Movies liked by both genders Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
  • 11. Only Lovers Left Alive Imitation Game Guardian of the Galaxy It- follows Shanghai Noon and Night Kingsman Secret Service The Imitation Game Menachi X-Men Days of the Future Shanghai Noon and Night From Vegas to Macau The Imitation Game X-Men Days of Future Past According to these results women love these movies because they have romance and love story. Research shows that women love watching the movies with romance because they get ideas on how to go about their relationships. These movies expand their points of view, and they do not prefer movies with lots of fight and chaos.
