Statement of commitment to engage in action research (paragraph):
• ICE Institute is a marketplace of online courses in Indonesia, established in 2021, and supported by 43 partner
institutions in Indonesia as well as abroad. Since its inception, ICE Institute offers students and the public
unbundled courses for credit transfer as well as for capacity building and reskilling purposes. In addition to the
online course offerings, ICE Institute also actively participate in various studies, and the latest has been Micro-
Credentials Use Cases in Indonesia (Basaruddin & Pannen, 2022) under the auspices of UNESCO Bangkok.

• ICE Institute herewith expresses its interest and commitment to conducting action research on the
implementation of Higher Education Teaching Personnel Digital Competency for Indonesia HE. The case study is
intended to capture the mapping of digital competencies and skills of lecturers in Indonesia, analysis of potential
CPD programs, and implementation strategies of the program. The research will be conducted through the
collaboration of the ICE Institute and the 8 members of the consortium.
