believe he was actually born in 1474.
 He was born in Leon, Spain.

 He discovered Puerto Rico.
 He discovered Florida.

 He was a son of a noble family.
 He had a famous relative.
 He served as a squire.

5.  Ponce de Leon supposedly found the Fountain
of Youth.
 Then he was said to have drank some of the
water.

Florida, Hispaniola, Puerto Rico.
 Someone else would have been the first
governor of Hispaniola and Puerto Rico.
 Someone else would have supposedly found
the Fountain of Youth.
 Lastly, Diego Miruelo and his crew would not
be alive.

7.  Ponce de Leon was first a page then a soldier in
the royal court.
 In his final battle in Florida against indians he
died by a poison arrow.

8.  Ponce de Leon is remembered as the person to
discover Florida and look for the Fountain of
Youth.
 He was burried under a Puerto Rican church.
 Then his remains were moved to a Puerto
Rican cathedral.
