EduKit is a social enterprise that helps schools identify high-quality local programs to address students' personal development needs and improve attainment levels. It maintains a database of over 500 programs in London and matches individual students to programs based on their interests, needs, and goals. EduKit then tracks student results to help schools with self-evaluations and inspections.
2. Our Mission
Many schools struggle to improve attainment levels, particularly amongst
students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Yet in London alone there are
thousands (yes, thousands) of youth programmes run by charities and
social enterprises that can help. But schools are unaware of most of these,
so finding suitable programmes is very time consuming and it is also very
difficult to understand the quality and impact of interventions.
EduKit is a tool that raises attainment levels by helping schools commission
high-quality local programmes that address the individual personal
development needs of students. As a result, students improve their grades
and behaviour and have a clearer idea of what they intend to do after
school. We then track and analyse the results to help with external
reporting and school self-assessments.
We are a social enterprise with a simple mission - to ensure that every
student can achieve his or her potential irrespective of gender or
ethnicity, where they live or what their parents do.

EduKit is an amazing tool that enables schools to identify students in need or
at risk and find the right kind of provisions to support them. Where schools
feel they have exhausted their options or aren’t clear about what services and
providers are available to them, EduKit empowers them to do more and go
further to meet the needs of students.

9. FAQs
Why are you offering this service?
We are a social enterprise committed to ensuring that excellent services are made
available to the students who need them most.
What types of programmes do you have on your database?
We already have over 500 programmes in our database which include activities that
cater for almost every student need and interests. See page 6 for more details.
Which students can you help?
We can help all students, from those who are at risk to those who are gifted & talented.
Rather than suggesting a one-size fits all approach, we cater to each student’s individual
needs and help students of all ability levels.
How do providers get programmes onto your database?
We arrange a call with one of our consultants to collate information on programmes,
eligibility criteria and impact. After any necessary checks are completed, programmes are
added to our database.
What checks do you do on the quality of programmes?
Before enrolling students on any programmes, we recommend that schools complete
thorough checks on any organisation, as per their standard process.
Which schools are using your service?
We have already helped schools in four boroughs across London and are expanding
rapidly. Currently, we are available to help any state school in Greater London.
How is student improvement assessed?
We reassess each student once a year or more frequently if requested by the school.
How long does it take to input student information?
Data entry by teachers takes 2-5 mins per student. Student input takes approx 5 mins.
How can you guarantee that student data will be held securely?
All student data is anonymised. However, we never share individual student data with
any third parties and adhere strictly to the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
All sounds great, but how much does it cost?
We provide a highly-subsidised service for schools. Please contact us for further
