universal consensus on the definition of telemedicine and its difference with telehealth, most
of its experts consider it to be a subset of eHealth.
Among the goals of telemedicine: improved patient care, improved access and medical care
for rural and deprived areas, better access to doctors for counseling, availability of facilities
for doctors to guide auto examinations, reduce medical care costs, create services Medical
care (at the geographical and demographic level) reduces the transfer of patients to health
centers. Remote medical services include distance counseling, distance education,
telemedicine, telemedicine, remote ultrasound imaging, remote pathology, cognitive
impairment therapy.
Today, telemedicine has progressed to a certain extent, and remote surgery is also possible.
That is, a surgeon in a distant area of ​​the patient in a country with a very strong Internet
connection and accurate technical infrastructure, it is possible to carry out surgery in a
surgery room in another country by robots.

The advent of the Internet and its expansion has made a lot of changes in science and industry;
medical science was no different from this, and the Internet, in addition to its effects, has had a
significant impact on the development and improvement of medical services. After the creation of
the computer and its progress, and then advanced information systems such as computer networks
and the globalization of the Internet, users thought that they would use these systems to inform
themselves. In the meantime, the health departments also took the idea of ​​providing better services
to the general public through the Internet because it is the most important part of the task.
Electronic health and the provision of health services are one of the areas of science and technology
that has an increasing growth in health care in the world. In fact, electronic health is a new term that
we need to use a combination of information and communication technology in the health and
treatment sector to describe it. Electronic health is a new approach to health, diagnostic and
therapeutic care that is supported by electronic and communication processes. The system provides
all health services, including patient records, telemedicine, evidence-based medicine, information to
citizens, information for specialists and virtual medical teams. Telemedicine is the bridge between
medical and engineering sciences, in which the medical community uses engineering facilities to
improve the health of the community.
