Design A Logo & Stationary For Your Own Design Studio
DESIGN CONCEPT
The inspiration of my logo is from a few keywords:
‘Think, Design and Express’
We can see that the shape of the logo looks like a
human brain and also a speech bubble. They represent
my creative approaching process.
I have also created my own style of fonts,
we can see that the hand writing style of fonts makes
a strong contrast with the shape.
They fit within the shape and represent flexible thinking
skills and suitable creative solutions.

4. DESIGN CONCEPT
The concept for the magazine design is based on being
creative. The layout design, contents and illustrations
are all focused on originality to inspire and attract cre-
ative people. The keywords of this style are ‘handmade’
‘creativity’ and ‘unique’. Also, the whole magazine has
three key colours (black, white and red) to combine the
illustrations.
I avoided the use of actual images and tried to replace
some rough sketching with hand drawn fonts to express
more design textures for whole magazine.
I have also created a digital version of the Taylor maga-
zine. I tried to add some interactive elements to revive
the fixed layouts in the Taylor traditional publication.
Sounds, buttons, animations and videos helped make
the whole magazine vivid and visually interesting.
Hopefully it might bring audiences a different visual
experience.

Design a series of posters
DESIGN CONCEPT
My concept with these was to design three posters to advertise seminars for the AGDA. The designs reflect topics which
were to be the focus of the seminars.
Three elements were selected to represent equality (balance between client and designers), safety (within design studio)
and intellectual property (of designers) associated within the design industry in the internet age.
The typography reflects a desire to make it visually interesting and the concept is very strong and clear.

Using ecological materials to design packaging for skin care products
DESIGN CONCEPT
The inspiration for this design is from a natural source of charcoal which is popular in Japan.
The package design is based on a natural stone with the charcoal soap inside. The design, although simple, is modern and unique.
The materials used can be environmentally sourced help reduce waste to landfill.

Using ecological materials to design packaging for skin care products
DESIGN CONCEPT
It is important in the present day that the packaging and design uses little material which impacts the environment whilst also adopting the culture of
Kyoto. I am aware of the environmental issues of today’s age and this package reflects that.
The material uses paper pulp which I made by hand. The ceramic ware was made from the soil and the packaging was sourced from natural
sources and recycled paper. The use of bamboo twig hung with cakes also reflects natural sources and feeling, and can be linked to a return to
nature. The industrial feel does not suit this message of environmentlly friendly and the value and feeling of natural appearance.

Recreate new logo & package artwork for a well known food brand
DESIGN CONCEPT
New logo design inspiration came from a few key words, Italian chef, tomato sauce, taste and aftertaste because i think these words
represent italian food.
The fonts in the logo are created by using the perceived texture of tomato sauce. We can see the logo includes a chef’s face and Roma
tomatoes. I wanted to add some humorous visual elements to make people associate ‘nice food’ with ‘happiness and smiles’ .
For the main colour I have chosen tomato red which I think expresses passion, full flavour, visual perspective and enticing. Each of the
products need some personality to be able to stand out in the competitive supermarket sales environment. There are some individual
solutions for each of packaging design layout.
