I’ve always been interested in how places can speak
for themselves. To me, by simply entering a space,
a story is being told. Through the exploration of
design styles, materials and disciplines, I find myself
as a designer who makes a connection between these
spaces. This connection is not only based on aesthet-
ically appeal, but also balance and understanding
of the environment. Even if people are looking for a
unique place to have a cup of coffee, they’re also sub-
consciously looking for an experience. As a designer,
not only am I designing the space, I am designing
their experience.
