I serve my store's customers and their pets passionately and as store manager, I lead my team
by this example. I plan for specific sales outcomes, provide training for my staff and ensure the
highest quality customer service is experienced at my store. I maintain a high level of
communication both with my staff and with my group and district managers as well as the
corporate office. I am responsible for the store's maintenance, merchandising plans, stock
levels, staffing, payroll and general fitness to perform the duties of serving the public, and for
growing the business. I make weekly sales plans to address areas that need growth and
disseminate these to my team, and continually encourage the development of the team by one-
on-one mentoring sessions and advanced training in animal nutrition and care, customer
