This document provides guidance for supervisors on conducting personal protective equipment (PPE) training. It outlines the need to conduct hazard assessments, ensure personnel are properly fitted and trained on PPE use, and certify that training has occurred. The document reviews inspection and use instructions for various types of PPE, including eye, head, hand, foot, and chemical protective equipment. Supervisors are instructed to train personnel on when PPE is needed, limitations, care requirements, and to document all training.
