2. The preliminary exercise was the first product that we made as a group. The task
was not complex it just involved a conversation between two people sat at a table.
For this task we mostly used the shot-reverse shot technique as it is the best way
to film a conversation between two people. We also used the 180° rule and kept to
one side to keep the continuity the same.
3. In comparison to our preliminary exercise our film was a lot more technical as we
used multiple shots like close up, match on action and eye line match. We also
used non-diegetic music in our film where as in our preliminary exercise we did
not and we also used freeze fames for our characters to add a better effect to our
film.
4. Going from our preliminary exercise to our full film we had massively improved on
our filming skills as a whole as we were more adventurous with filming
techniques in our film than in our preliminary exercise. We had also improve on
our editing skills as we had included freeze frames in out main feature and we
had used dissolves on scenes to get a better overall transition between out scenes.
