This document provides information about the actors and their roles for the production "Taking a Stand". It introduces Luke Thomas as the lead role of Oliver Young, a disabled boy pursuing his dreams. Charlotte Chambers is introduced as the love interest Scarlett. Reece Kite will play the antagonist with limited acting experience. Joe Hamer and Adam Dickens are described as extras who auditioned last minute but performed their roles well.
2. LUKE THOMAS
• The main character!
Mr. Luke Thomas. He
will be portraying
‘Oliver Young’ the
young disabled boy,
looking to achieve his
dreams and prove a
point to the world. Luke
is not really disabled,
but he just seems to suit
a chair! (In a nice way)
so he is perfect for the
part.
3. CHARLOTTE CHAMBERS
• The leading lady,
Charlotte Chambers!
She will be Luke’s
love interest in the
film, playing
‘Scarlett’. Her acting
is great and she’s
amazing to work with!
We’re really looking
forward to getting
her on camera!
4. REECE KITE
• The antagonist, portrayed
by the energetic, Reece
Kite. As said before,
Reece has limited acting
experience, but there’s
not much for him to
actually be doing. Reece
is simply a good
reference point for
filming. It gives us a
character to focus on
and have more of a ‘role’
in the scene with him in it.
5. JOE HAMER
• Extra! Joe Hamer will
be one of the muggers
for one of the scenes.
With little experience, it
was a good chance for
him to try out
something new and it
also helped me out a
lot. Actually, he
performed well in the
scene. For a last minute
audition, it couldn’t
have gone better.
6. ADAM DICKENS
• Similarly, Adam was an
extra who was quite
last minute. He didn’t
disappoint! In fact, he
performed exactly
what was asked of him
and really brought
something to the
filming. Overall, we
liked having him there!
He livened the mood
and helped us all out a
great deal!
