SUMMARY OF REFLECTION
As the part of B.Ed curriculum the ten B.Ed trainees from FMTC was
send to Model Boys HSS. Thevally. The teaching practice was started on 20th
July 2015. We had received a warm welcome in the school. The principal Mrs.
Mumthaz had welcome us to the school. The first day we had just got
introduced with the students. I was allotted with IX A and VIII B to teach
biology. The very first day I did not had a period in either of the class. I started
in IX A in 21st July. The students were all friendly with me. They were very
much respectful to me. After making a friendly relation I took their permission
to start teaching. The student cheerfully attended the long 40 days. The in
service teachers were also very polite to us. The teachers and the head
mistress considered us as their own staff members. We were accommodated
in the library hall of the school. The vice principal Mrs. Rajalekshmi was very
close to us. She used to appoint the members of our group to conduct the quiz
programs held in the school.
I had really an extra ordinary experience during the forty days of
teaching practice. The students when they wish me I really felt proud of myself
and I realized the status of being a teacher. I am very much happy and proud
to be a teacher.
