What is Innovation?
“Innovation is a complex process-even
defining innovation is
problematic”,converting knowledge into
wealth is called as innovation which
definines the characteristic of innovation
Why innovation is important?
⊹ Innovation is vital in the workplace because it
gives companies an edge in penetrating
markets faster and provides a better
connection to developing markets,which can
lead to bigger opportunities.
“Creativity is thinking up new things,
Innovation is doing new things”
⊹ There is no use in sitting around dreaming
fantastic ideas unless you’re prepared to
innovate and do hardwork to make things
happen.
What are the barriers that hinders
innovation which is faced by people?
⊹ Fear
The single biggest reason why most organizations and
individuals do not achieve their full potential is fear of
failure.
⊹ Lack of leadership
Innovation must be led from the top. Often they do not
support the strategic importance of innovation as a
business driver and what it would look like for their
organization.
⊹ Lots of ideas, no delivery to market
Having ideas is not a problem for most organizations,
but having relevant ideas and progressing them can be
incredibly hard.
How to overcome those
barriers?
⊹ The success of an innovation system relies on an
organization’s senior leadership to understand the
structures that need to be in place to embed
innovation, they can get started with establishing
their organizations’ innovation systems by learning
from a few simple, but powerful lessons
observation, success, and failure. These are some
points how we can overcome the barriers that
hinders innovation,
1.Explore the Vision
2.Gather Data.
3.Formulate Questions
4.Explore Ideas
5.Formulate Solutions
And finally,
All individuals and organizations can
learn how to innovate and people will
adopt an innovation if they believe that it
enhances their utility.

  • 4. “Innovation is a complex process-even defining innovation is problematic”,converting knowledge into wealth is called as innovation which definines the characteristic of innovation
  • 5. Why innovation is important? ⊹ Innovation is vital in the workplace because it gives companies an edge in penetrating markets faster and provides a better connection to developing markets,which can lead to bigger opportunities. “Creativity is thinking up new things, Innovation is doing new things” ⊹ There is no use in sitting around dreaming fantastic ideas unless you’re prepared to innovate and do hardwork to make things happen.

What are the barriers that hinders innovation which is faced by people? ⊹ Fear The single biggest reason why most organizations and individuals do not achieve their full potential is fear of failure. ⊹ Lack of leadership Innovation must be led from the top. Often they do not support the strategic importance of innovation as a business driver and what it would look like for their organization. ⊹ Lots of ideas, no delivery to market Having ideas is not a problem for most organizations, but having relevant ideas and progressing them can be incredibly hard.

How to overcome those barriers? ⊹ The success of an innovation system relies on an organization’s senior leadership to understand the structures that need to be in place to embed innovation, they can get started with establishing their organizations’ innovation systems by learning from a few simple, but powerful lessons observation, success, and failure. These are some points how we can overcome the barriers that hinders innovation, 1.Explore the Vision 2.Gather Data. 3.Formulate Questions 4.Explore Ideas 5.Formulate Solutions
