 Raise issues of nonconsistencies/ abnormalities/ problems with GE PAC and implement the suggested resolution
 Carry out walk downs and checks/ inspections during assemblyand disassemblyand final checks.
 Attend the conference calls with GE Technical experts.
 Ensure compliance to OEM, ASME, ASTM, BS and ISO Standards requirements.
 Awareness of IS standards, API, ASTM, ASME, PTC codes for gas turbines, pumps, compressors, vessels, piping and
materials.
 Follow and ensure use of Permit To Work system, OSHAS 14001 safety systems and other safetyrequirements of the
plant.
 Prepare reports-daily, weekly activity reports, shutdown/ overhaul reports; Combustion/Hot Gas Path/ Major over haul
report, Gas turbine Inlet inspection report, Borescopic inspection report and Unit rebuild report.
 Plan & implement schedules for shutdowns/ overhauls/erection, preparation of work schedules-MS project/ bar chart/
Gantt chart for shutdown activities/ erection and for minor inspections/ major overhauls of Gas turbines
 RESOURCESPLANNING-Preparedlistsofrequirementsof manpower,materials- spares & consumables, tools
and activitytiming/schedulingforEquipmentand planterection, commissioning, outage, overhaul/ shutdown
 Used(after training)NDT testinglikedye penetranttest, flourocentparticletest, awareness about radiography, ultrasonic
and magnetic particle test
 Knowledge about latest tools/ tackles, consumables like gaskets, o-rings, oil seals, bearings, gland packing, fasteners,
flanges, coupling, lubricating oil, adhesives, sealants etc. used for mechanical erection and maintenance/ overhauls.
