Description:
This project involved performing the sanity testing of the Platform, Services features of the M and
Mx high performance routers, in Native mode and identifying the defects during the test. This task
is a daily reporting system in which the results are used for health monitoring the code on a daily
basis to assure there is no breakage due to new commits. Any defect identified was logged into
the Juniper GNATS and will be tracked to its closure. The testing includes the routing protocols,
interfaces, Services, ISSU and high availability features.
Responsibilities:
Understanding the test cases and associated product functionality.
Responsible for performing the sanity testing using smoketest.
Performing the failure analysis for any bugs observed and raising the bugs identified during
sanity testing using JUNOS GNATS and tracking the bug to its closure.
Post reports on a daily basis on time with quality.
Project 2: Porting of Test Scripts for Layer 3 and Layer 2 Protocols for M and Mx series
routers for new line cards.

Description:
The project involves understanding new line cards and performing the manual testing &
porting the already existing scripts to the new platform. This porting had about 2000 scripts in total
with a one week run time involving Mx series routers and Ixia. After the review and approval, the
test scripts were checked into the Junos centralized repository.

This project involved performing the Automation testing of the Customer Found Defects (CFD) for
Services features (CGNAT , JFLOW) of the M and Mx high performance routers. And the scripts
were etransed to regression and are run across all the releases where ever supported.
This process is involved so that the same kind of customer issues will not be found in future
releases. Any defect identified during automating the CFD was logged into the Juniper GNATS
and will be tracked to its closure and automated. The testing includes the routing protocols,
interfaces, Services, ISSU and high availability features.
