My Roles and Responsibilities
Involved in manual testing of cat6k-6500/6800IA & 2960 Fex porters series with different LC’s
(PFC/DFC) as part of the commit verification for various features that Includes platform and l2/l3
protocols.
As part of the commit verification involved in creating complex lab topologies on cat6k-6500/6800
based on customer SR’s on various releases to reproduce the bugs, identifying root cause,
verification, prepare test cases, no-harm and making the complete test report with test logs and
then updated under DDTS.
Reporting bugs during verification under CDETS, bug tracking, sharing details with DE, verification
and closure.
Involved in working on Engineering Special bugs-includes reproving, finding root cause, get the fix,
verification, and covering no-harm and then ensure on time delivery of the ES image.
Analysis of customer SR’s to Create/Modify test cases and test templates/test plans based on
requirements and creating wiki for easy access for team.
Working on Ixia Traffic Generator to send the L2 and L3 traffic, crafted packets with respective of
the requirement.
Involved in all day to day operations for commit verifications and raising defects found during

I was Leading a small team called “Foresight SR Team” Which will deal with the customer SR’s and
customer found defects (CFD’s).
Having hands on experience in installing, testing with scaled SUP2T and TFEX scaled setup. Tested

My Roles and Responsibilities
The testing process involves Feature and functionality testing, Regression, Sanity testing’s along
with spot checks.
Involved in writing and reviewing the Test cases for CSD 3.6. Logging and Verification of Defects.
Actively involved in setting up the test bed, configuration and installation of Devices like, ASA 5505,
5510 & 5520 series.
The project demanded different Vm clients for testing. So in order to have virtual machines
installed Cisco UCS C250 M2 Servers - VMware esxi / vSphere client version 5.0.0.
Created different flavours of virtual machines like Windows xp / 7 / 8, Linux machines like RHEL 5/6
& Ubuntu 11/12 64 bit.

Work Profile To test SE800 / SE1200 Ericson Redback smart edge routers.
My Roles and Responsibilities
I was a member of central regression team executing scripts, analyzing failures and updating test
results in TCView.
I was also a part of the protocol conformance testing. Here we used to debug the failures and
update EVs with our analysis.
Tested few test cases of Interoperability between Redback routers and cisco routers.
Regression testing involved protocol testing like – LDP, RSVP_GR .
Actively participated in all the technical presentations and also helped the CR team in any of the
Linux issues they had.
