Detail :- WCNP ATCA Platform Software has developed by Alcatel-Lucent
Technologies, working as a Platform Software for the EVDO/CDMA like many
applications.
Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture, also known as AdvancedTCA or ATCA,
is a scalable architecture capable of supporting high capacity, high availability,
dense, telecom systems with thermal capacity to utilize current higher power
devices. Open Industry specification for building high-performance
communications systems.
It provides a interface through which GUI can connect to WCNP Platform and can
provide/query the configuration.
ATCA Platform which includes Ethernet switches (Malban10 hubs) used in ATCA
shelves which provides switching and processing functionalities of Multi-Tenant
Architecture, HPI Management, Shelf Manager, SNMP Management, Resource
Management, Board Configuration Management, High Availability Software
Modules, Software upgrade, Greenfield and Inventory Management.
Responsibilities: -

3.  Design/Test planning/Test Execution/Bug tracking/ Verification/Validation
for RNC, WCDMA, NODE-B features.
 Defining the Test cases by going through the Specification documents.
 Updating the Test documents in the client specific templates.
 Cover all the nominal, defense and error cases
 Majorly involved in middleware testing for CDMA, RNC, RAN & NODE-B
features.
 My responsibilities include being involved with testing the platform-level
subsystems that constitute this product such as OAM for providing
integrated SNMP-based State, Alarm and Event Management, and
Configuration Management.
 Performing load bring up activity to upgrade the frame to latest load.
 Setting the Multi-Frame configuration for testing.
 Coordinating with the design teams for quick resolution of the issues.
 Involved in automating the system test regression test suite using perl
scripting.
