 The ultimate goal of reading is good a comprehension.

 Aesop's famous fables and scripts provide great entertainment for
children and kids. The fables, or stories, are all very short so keep
the attention of children and Aesop's fables feature familiar animals
loved by children and kids.
Aesop’s Fables

 A
Who is Aesop?
 Aesop is the name of the man credited with the
authorship of a collection or book of fables. Aesop
was a slave who many believe lived in Samos, he
was a Greek.

 Aesop's Quest, based on Aesop's Fables, is a learning game where the player must remember elements of
a story to complete a level. The game uses reading comprehension to develop cognitive reading skills.
Aesop’s Quest

 The touch mechanic of the game engages children in
a hands-on learning process, implementing
kinesthetic learning.

 Ask and answer questions about what is read.


 Apply meaning clues, language structure, and
phonic strategies.
 Compare and contrast setting, characters and events.
 Identify the author's purpose.
 Ask and answer questions.
 Organize information and events logically.
 Summarize major points found in fiction materials.
 Understand basic plots of fairy tales, myths,
folktales, legends, and fables

 Use information stated explicitly in the text to draw conclusions and make

 Explain how character and plot development are used in a selection to
