Engineer - Proposals in the Industrial Water Division of ‘’VA Tech Wabag Limited’’Aundh, Pune
which is one the world's leading suppliers of drinking water and wastewater plant planning, installation
and operational management company for both municipal and industrial sectors.(Duration : Aug 2013-
till date)
Engineer – Proposals in “Transparent Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd.”, Bhosari,Pune .the Company is
involved in business of Waste heat recovery power plants projects.(Duration:June 2011-Aug 2013)
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
I) Proposal related work:-
1) Detail study of relevant tender / enquiry document.
2) Preparation of enquiry documents for the field Electrical part.
It contains the specification document, datasheets, single line diagram, PLC architecture.
3) Sending enquires of major critical components to sub vendors (HT panel, LT panel, Transformer,
Busduct etc).
4) Technical and commercial offer evaluation of HT & LT supplier’s offer.
5) Preparation of technical offer including basic control philosophy for the WHR boiler,
Deviations / clarifications / important notes, scope of supply and work and exclusions.
6) Prepare dully filled datasheets (as per client’s requirement).
7) Attending technical meeting / conference calls with client for technical information.
8) Prepare revised techno-commercial offer in line with all the till date correspondence (MOM) with
client.
2. 9) Preparation of Power and control cable schedule, overall cable costing, Panel costing for the
commercial offer along with automated excel sheets of all necessary sizing calculations such as
cable and cable tray supports,transformer,Un interruptible power supply (UPS) and battery,
lighting system as back up papers.
10) Preparation of commercial offer including price break down insuring all items are covered in the
costing sheet and optional prices as per client’s requirement.
11) Preparation of rationalized internal proposal, handover sheets and estimation sheets for awarded
projects.
12) Post order correspondence with internal team member.
Along with the proposal related work I handle the following Post order basic engineering part also:-
II) Basic engineering related work:
1) Preparation of power, control cable, cable tray schedule lighting cable, earthing schedule as per
boiler and TG building location in plant layout .
2) Performing the vital role in the UPS, Fire alarm systems (FAS)execution till project gets
commissioned
3) Preparation of the datasheets for HT, LT Panels, Transformer, Earthing, lighting, UPS system.
4) Review of the boiler, TG and ACC related cable schedule, Earthing, lighting layouts and related
datasheets etc.
5) Preparation of MCC panel control logic, and MCC panel component selection.
6) Techno-commercial offer evaluation and comparison sheet of Electrical system supplier offer.
7) Checking of Electrical drawings, BOQ, GA and system layouts.
8) Review and provide the approval of the Electrical GA drawings, single line diagrams, system
layouts.
9) Performing the vital role in the UPS, Fire alarm systems (FAS)execution till project gets
commissioned ,did FAS system designing for TG building which includes area/floor wise
distribution of smoke detectors ,multi smoke detectors,LHS cable ,heat detectors and manual call
points location as per system requirement and making of design sheet.
10) Coordinating with other disciplines (Process / Mechanical / Civil / Piping / Electrical) and providing
necessary technical support when required.
