Responsible for the plant layout of the Ethane Cracker unit (refrigeration section) including
tower and drum orientation, simple stress calculations and pipe support systems. Operated equipment
and associated systems for the following primary equipment, expander, compressor, demethanizer,
cold box structure, C2 splitter.
Bechtel, Houston, TX. 2010 – 2013
Design Supervisor
Chevron Wheatstone project. LNG plant (Train 1).
Supervised plant layout for six modules of the Cryo rack (Train 1) including all air coolers,
relief valves, and depressurizing systems from various sections within the train, the entire fuel gas and
defrost gas supply for the train. Included 30% to 90% client reviews.
Chevron Base oil project.
Completed and finalized the position of all equipment including pumps and exchangers.
Routed all associated piping.
 Identified the plant layout and orientation of IDW and HSF reactors, trayed vessels and drums
using PDS.

Area Lead
Marathon IRD project (MSAT2 Unit). Benzene removal.
Responsible for the plant layout and orientation several multi-tray towers and drums using
PDS and Microstation for equipment orientations. Finalized positions of equipment including pumps and
exchangers. Routed all associated piping including supports associated with the splitter tower area,
splitter re-boiler heater, split cell heater, air coolers the splitter section, air coolers for the recovery
section, and the Benzene tower area. Also.

Supervised the Marathon GME project HCU unit fractionation area, heavy Naphtha guard
beds, reactor feed train one and two, North and South pipe rack, feed and distribution for reactors,
charge and feed furnaces, feed trains, and air coolers along the East and West pipe rack.

Senior Designer
Reliance Jamnagar Export Refinery project. Clean fuels unit.
Plant layout and orientation of several towers and drums using PDS, Microstation and
drawing manager. Routed all associated piping systems including supports associated with LCO
fractionation area, heavy Naphtha guard beds, hot oil furnaces, HP recycled gas compressor, LP
recycled gas compressor, scan fining feeds sections, and DHDS feed surge section.
t Supervised equipment orientations and the finalization of positions for pumps, exchangers,
filters, and compressors.

Senior Designer
Valero Unicracker sat gas plant.
Plant layout and orientation for various trayed vessels, drums, finalization of positions of
all equipment, pumps, exchangers for the Deethanizer area. Routed all associated piping including
supports. Extracted all isometrics for stress and checking purposes. Laid out the utility level of the
North and South pipe rack. Input all of the above into PDS. Checked the Hydrogen reciprocating
compressor and all associated equipment and piping for the Marathon DHT diesel hydrotreater.

Agip KCO overall onshore processing facility.
Plant layout and design of the LPG bullets and associated LPG transfer export pumps.
Input information into PDS. Draw and update material and stress sketches. Communicated and

Plant layout and design of equipment and piping systems.

Responsible for plant layout and input into PDMS of all equipment, piping and pipe
supports for the North Production module.
