abuse.

Dating abuse can mean many things, and it’s not always physical.
5. 1 in 3 teens who have been in a relationship (30%) say
they’ve been text messaged 10, 20, or 30 times an hour
by a partner finding out where they are, what they’re
doing, or who they’re with
You have no responsibility to your dating partner for where you are or
who you hang out with in your free time.
6. 1 in 10 teens report that a partner has shared
private or embarrassing pictures/videos
It is illegal to take and send a naked photo of yourself under the age of
18.
7. 58% of rape victims report being raped
between the ages of 12-24
84% of all rape victims know the person that raped them.
8. Teen Dating Violence can put the victims at higher
risk for substance abuse, eating disorders, risky
sexual behavior and further Domestic Violence
Teen dating violence has long-lasting effects beyond the initial
abuse.
9. Only 33% of teens who were in an abusive
relationship told anyone about the abuse
