handling and food safety practices. Completed ServSafe Food Protection Manager

2. 08/1991 - 1997 Ecom USA Inc., Dallas, Texas
Chief Operational Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President
Increased revenues by 100 pct after expanding to the domestic market in the Southern
U.S and the opening of purchasing and sales offices in Lubbock, Tx, Memphis, Tn. and
Greenville, SC.
Established a new computerized inventory control system which increased our
efficiency in quality control and logistics and faster turnover at warehouses necessary
for consolidation and the increased volume.
In addition set up necessary procedures and reached an agreement with all overseas
group members to consolidate New York future trades through our Dallas office which
allowed us to hedge the price of our commodities more cost effective. Such
consolidation lowered the group's trading costs by close to 500k dollar annually.
My daily activities included sending out offers to the domestic and international markets,
staying in close contact with clients and agents, negotiating purchases and sales over
the phone and in person when visiting customers.
It included managing the inventory position, ensuring timely deliveries according to
contract and making sure that actual costs did not exceed previous cost calculations.
Personally negotiated quality claims to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Monitoring
trading limits as well as accounts receivables was part of my risk management.
