Current responsibilities
My professional experience at Ibrahim Group “Ibrahim Fibers Ltd” Polyester Plant
Faisalabad starts from 1st
Jan, 2016. This is a petrochemical plant producing staple fibre with
a production capacity of 200 MT/Day in phase-I and 400MT/Day in phase-II and 600MT/Day
in Phase III. I have been working as Inventory Officer dealing with following responsibilities.
Inventory Planning & Control
• Monitoring imported spare parts & LC’s as well as communication foreign suppliers.
• To devise plans in order to maintain an optimum stock level by using different systematic
techniques / analysis and tracking of inventory items and to take decisions accordingly. e.g.
“Inter-Org Transfer”, “Work Order”, “Account Alias Issue” or “Dispatch Order”.
• To sort out obsolete / out dated / excess inventory items from stock after regular intervals.
• To manage the stock of BOM items for smooth production operations while achieving cost
efficiency on the basis of “Monthly Production Report”.
4. • To devise policies for aggregate central demands of commonly used items in order to avoid
“ordering & carrying” costs.
• Monitoring data management to keep accurate product, contract, pricing and invoicing
information.
• Working closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce cost.

Responsibilities at Power Generation Plant, TP3
I worked at “Power Generation Plant of 58.300 Mega Watts” as an Inventory site
controller. I was controlling the flow of all type of inventories such as imported & local spare
parts, machinery, lubricants and other hardware accessories.
The main job responsibility is to look after/control all the activities regarding inventory,
including in-house administration, supplier and coordination with all the departments sat plants as
well as with import, purchase & account department to assure in-time provision of inventories.
Other responsibilities include:
Making arrangements for the dip of Furnace Oil arrived from Byco, Shell, Total, Parco and
Chevron for power plant & HTM process, and making calculation on the basis of dip, density
and temperature.
To maintain liaison with purchase, import and account department to ensure timely delivery
of spare parts, consumables and simultaneously maintain the flow and accuracy of
documents related to account department for regulating and speeding up the payment of
supplier.
To ensure availability of spare parts as per levers required for maintaining the plant.
To send reports to concerned departments regarding critical items, imported items,
engineering items, chemicals and packing material as well as slow moving and dead stock
items.
To look after/control all inward/outward transactions regarding inventory.
To make arrangements for unloading/stacking the packing material, raw material & spare
parts receive against Delivery challan, invoices, packing list, L/C and machinery cases/lots.
Also sign the entire receiving documents.
To make arrangements for the repair of different items used at plant, refilling of gas cylinders
being used at plant and arrangements to sale the scrap material.
To monitor the allied functions, namely, promotion the efficiency and accuracy of working
within various sections and maintain liaison with user departments to discuss matters related

To cheek and sign all goods receipt notes (GRN), foods inspection notes (GIN), good return
note, over short and damage reports, internal audit documents and all types of gate passes.
To review consumption rate of store, spares, raw material and recommend to the concerned
departments about revision of maximum, minimum and reorder levels.
To provide guidance and control for the proper handling and storage of materials in order to
prevent them from damage or deterioration.
During installation, implementation and running of latest inventory control system ERP
(Enterprise Resource Planning) I was involved as a member. This system was provided by
“AFF Ferguson Chartered Accountant” organization and I named “Oracle E-business” as it
operates on Oracle language.
All the inward/outward as well as receivable/returnable transactions of inventory are on-line,
that is an emerging concept of management toward creating a paperless environment.
Oracle E-business (ERP) provides us fastest & systematic way to manage demands, delivery directly
from supplier (furnace oil, packing & raw material) or through purchase department.
