Roles & Responsibilities
Monitoring day to day warehouse operations as per definedprocesses/policies.
Coordinate with the production unit regarding merchandise dispatches to warehouse on daily basis.
Negotiating, Pricing & Finalizing Transportation rates, order fulfillment, Commercial Operation
(Physical Dispatch & Invoicing Activities), In-Transit Monitoring, Strategic, Planning and Forecasting.
Daily follow up with sales head for aging stock and focus on billing for aging stock.
Handling deliveries to company owned retail outlets, shop-in-shops and corporate clients. Ensuring
timely delivery of merchandise against proper requisition on daily/ weekly basis.
Managing procurement of all materials, streamlining the system & procedures for effective inventory
control. Co-ordination in & out materials & keeping record.
SAP wise physical stock verification on monthly basis and ensure no any variance in warehouse
stock.
Maintaining of books relatedto day to day operations at the warehouse - merchandise receipt from
production, stock returned, petty cash, debit note, short and excess note file, courier details, sales
tax format, VAT file etc.
Co-ordination with other departments namely, production, finance, stores, etc for smooth operations.
Co-ordination with service team for defective stock in warehouse and ensure no defective stock in
warehouse.
Entire Sales and distribution function of the company is done on SAP and I have been handling SAP
relatedactivities for all India warehouse very effectively with zero error and sap training to warehouse
team for GRN/Invoice and dispatch.
Logistics
Managing logistics functions, negotiating with transporters/shippers for cost effective transport
solutions.
Taking adequate measures to monitor and analyses the performance of transporters, processing &
packaging units pertaining to cost and quality and delivery norms.
Ensuring adequate insurance coverage for goods in transit/storage for all centers/units andminimize
cost (premium) through comprehensive actions.
Raise order for booking transport from carriers andfollow up for booking confirmation.

Daily followup for warehouse space utilization and arrange space as per transit stock and ensure zero
detention in warehouse.
After getting the material in warehouse & inform to all sales and catogory team for sales plan.
Daily followup with warehouse team for dispatching all billed stock and ensure no BBND in
warehouse.
SAP wise physical stock varification on monthly basis and ensure no any varience in warehouse stock .
Provision for warehouse and transportation on monthly basis.
Cost Reduction & Cost achievement in warehousing and transportation.
Reconcilation with CFA and transportation vendor and take no dues on monthly basis.
New warehouse planning and training to new warehouse for sap and transportation.

Timely Stock availability at all stores as per PO raised and ensure no pending GRN / Purchase.
Ensure that Performance report, dealer/distributor survey report, insurance claimreport, on-time
material delivery report, BBND and vehicle detention report are shared with concern person time to
time.
All transaction related to Sales, GRN, stock movement and stock transfer is done in SAP and I ensure
all transations are done timely and without error by my team.
Preapring the new warehouse & transportation agreemnet with cost effective & processing the
warehousing & freight bills along with 100% pods.
