Projects Involved
1. Class 4 / 5 Testing.
Work Location : Hamburg, Germany ( 01/08/2014 to till date )
Description: The introduction of new Routing Server Platform (iRPS & iNEM) into the Telefonica fixed
network to replace the existing Cisco PGW based Class 4 Platform. The main focus is to shift all interfaces,
3. traffic, Routing functions & services from the PGW Platform towards the new Routing Server in different
Phases.
iRPS: Italtel Routing Policy Server (i-RPS), an innovative product that provides a centralized routing of
traffic management policies with advanced service control.
iNEM: Italtel Neutral Element Manager, a neutral FCAPS mediation that manage network devices such as
Cisco Catalyst, Italtel Switches, etc.
Customer: O2 Telefonica Germany
Responsibilities :
• As a Test Specialist responsible for the creation & execution of call related Testcases involving all
interfaces in both TEST & LIVE environment during various phases of the project.
• Responsible for doing Regression testing for all the call cases after every patch updgrades.
• Responsible for the creation & execution of Testcases for the measurements such that to
precisely check the performance of the product.
• Updation of test case results in TMS and tracking the status of bugs/tickets for failed test cases.

2. RCSe JYON Mobile App Testing
Work Location : Hamburg, Germany ( 01/02/2014 to 31/07/2014)
Description: O2 Telefonica Gmbh consists of IMS Test, Preprod and Poduction IMS system with IMS core
from Ericsson and VOIP nodes from Broadsoft. The project involves performing acceptance testing for IMS
Core & VOIP nodes after every new release of IMS Core and VOIP nodes upgrade or patch release.
Performing ATP and FOA testing for RCSe service on o2 Telefonica.
Customer: O2 Telefonica Germany
Responsibilities :
• As a Test engineer responsible for doing Acceptance Testing for IMS core elements and VOIP
nodes on the test and Preproduction system of o2 Telefonica for release and upgrade activities
• Manually verifying the basic call tests and supplementary services on IMS platform.
• Responsible for testing RCSe clients as Per GSMA specification tests.
• Analyzing RCSe test traces and verifying traces on Core,Client and IM-AS traces for the tests
performed and analyzing the test case issues observed during the tests
• Updation of test case results in TMS and tracking the status of bugs/tickets for failed test cases.
4. 3. WINDISX1 for WIND (class-4 MGC for Italian market)
Description: The Alcatel 5020MGC is being used as a national gateway Exchange and it is capable of
supporting VOIP subscribers. The main scope of this project is to test the Basic MGC functionality & SIP-
ISUP interworking with PSTN.
Customer: Telecom Italia
Responsibilities :
• Involved in setting up the Environment for testing the SIP-ISUP interworking with PSTN .
• Involved in the preparation of test cases for various scenarios possible with ITU-T document.
• Responsible for Planning and Tracking of the test phase end to end project cycle.
• Acquired knowledge of SIP-ISUP interworking and NGN components like TGWs, RGWs, IP media
servers etc.,
4. MEXMNT ( Mexico Maintenance )
Description: Maintenance Testing of Alcatel-Lucent PSTN A1000S12 switches deployed by Alcatel-Lucent
throughout MEXICO. Providing maintenance upgrades in regular intervals for solving problems detected in
field exchanges and to neutralize critical issues within the agreed SLA.
Customer: Telecom MEXICO
Responsibilities :
• Involved in resolution and debugging of problems reported after field deployment of the
product.
• Involved in the maintenance support and resolution of problems raised by clients.
• Involved in resolving the issues related to stability and performance of switch under high call
traffic.
5. Nortel CDMA Product Verification
Description: Nortel CDMA is one of the Nortel Networks primary product on which the Access and Core
Regression testing for various subsystems like Operational Administration Maintenance (OAM), Call processing,
Enhanced BSC, Security, Mobility is carried out in an effort to make sure the previous release features have
no impacts irrespective of the codes in current release.

5. Responsibilities :
• Involved in the cycle of preparing and reviewing of Project Test Plan and Project Test Objectives.
• Involved in the Regression testing of features like Handoffs, 3WC, CF, CWT, CALEA etc.,
6. Interoperability between TDM Switch and MGC
Description: Since MGC is a product which supports both TDM as well as VOIP networks, the scope of this
project involves setup and performing system integration testing between A5020 MGC and A1000S12
(TDM Switch).
Customer: Rostelecom ( Telecom Russia )
Responsibilities :
• Responsible for test setup.
• Responsible for Test case writing and testing of basic features.
• Responsible for defect tracking and reporting.
7. WINDC4P1- Italy WIND NGN Class 4 MGC
Description: Telecom Italy decided to introduce IMS network by enabling triple play services for fixed IP
customers. In this case the primary focus is to develop and make sure weather the A5020 MGC of Alcatel
in compatible with new IP network elements.

• Involved in test cases design and reviews.
• Involved in the unit testing, integration testing and support
• Involved in all phases of testing like feature test, regression test ,system test & acceptance Test.
8. A1000 S12 - Class 4/5 TDM Switch Maintenance
Description: Providing maintenance upgrades in regular intervals for solving problems detected in field
exchanges and to neutralize critical issues within the agreed SLA. In Feature Test Phase, the delivered
Software package is loaded in A1000S12 and testing is done to validate the new features developed. In
System Test Phase, the delivered Software package is loaded in A1000S12 and testing with full load to
validate the new features under load.
