Major Projects
1. Satellite Technical Leader (STL) for APAC India for SONY Mobile Communication FT
Delhi
This project involves the Verification and Field Testing for All Sony devices to be launched in near future
for Indian Market. Testing of the devices includes android multimedia testing and Protocol testing which
includes call processing and handovers scenarios.
I am working as an Acting Test Manager role in this project for Asia pacific India region. Work comprises
of team management, work package for India, Test Scope, Test Plan, Test Design, Interaction with CPM,
TOL and Line Manager sitting at overseas locations.

2. Multimedia Testing for MelcoJ6 [BDBE] System and Integration Testing for RSES (Rear
Seat Entertainment System)
This project comprises of System Test execution for Multimedia test cases of Audio, Video, Images, Blue
Ray Disc Playback, DVD & USB Playback for Rear Seat entertainment System. The device gets integrated
in collaboration with different stakeholders like Hitachi Solutions (HISOL), Panasonic, Texas Instruments
and Melco. The Audio, Video and Image files of various formats are tested using Melco Application
Framework and HMI. OpenMax, File Formats (MP4, ASF, AVI, DivX etc), Audio/Video codecs (MPEG4, VC1, WMV,
H.264, AMR, AAC/e AAC+, Xvid, m2ts, mts, MPEG1, MPEG2 etc).
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Performs System Testing in accordance with Melco Technical Requirements for RSES Terminals on J6
BDBE Platform.
• The test scope covers Audio, Video, Images, USB, DVD, and Blue Ray Disc Playback. It consists of
Single, Dual and Join Playback for different file formats.
• Analyses the root cause of the issues during testing and gives technical expert opinion on the severity
of these issues and impact to the end customer.
• Mentoring and Training new team members on Multimedia Testing Melco Automation Framework.
• Ownership of overall System Testing, Test Plan Enhancement and Effort estimation.

3. T-Mobile TIV (Terminal Integration and Validation) in United Kingdom
This is an on-site project in UK for Tier 1 Mobile Operator from Aug 2012 to – June 2012. The aim of the
project is to validate the given features in the mobile handsets, which are going to be launched to the
market in near future, against the test specifications provided by customer.

Performs Inter-Operability and Acceptance testing in accordance with T-Mobile Technical
Requirements for Mobile Terminals on different Radio Access Networks and Core Networks.
The test scope covers GSM, GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, 2G-3G/HSxPA inter-working and Roaming
Scenarios with some LTE TC execution with proprietary tools, QXDM and Agilent clients.
Execute test scripts using Anite SAS Network Simulator for 2G and 3G Radio Access Technologies.
Analysis the root cause of the issues during testing and gives technical expert opinion on the severity
of these issues and impact to the customers so as to set the right priority for the vendor to fix or
/and set a technical release or no technical Release to launch a terminal.

4. Field Trials for Chipset XMM6X60 for DSDS Devices in China for IMC.
This Field Trial involves the testing of whole protocol stacks compiled according to the 3GPP specifications
Compliance with R99, Release 4, Release 6 (HSDPA & HSUPA),Release 7, Multi-band
(850/900/1800/1900/2100MHz) support. The testing involves the Protocol Stack Testing on Infineon firmware
for Intel Mobile. The two major Chinese operators are China Mobile and China Unicom. Testing location
covered were Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Complete ownership of project which includes understanding of customer specific requirements for
setting up the test plan, test strategies, feasibility and locations with timelines to facilitate the FT.

Mentoring team members technically and non-technically to make them comfortable for the standalone

5. Mobile Handset Stress Rack Testing XMM6260 Platform (TOKYO) and XMM2230 DSDS
MTBF Testing, Catfish2230(IMC Bangalore).
This Lab session consists of checking the stability of the AP (Application) and BB (MODEM) part of the Handset
which is tested in stress rack campaign and the MTBF (Mean Time between Failures) is calculated. The stack
is based on DSDS (Dual SIM Dual Standby) for 2G for one platform and only 3G for another platform, Stack is
compliant with the provided specification. The target is to get Android application crash and the BB crash to
check the stability of the platform.

(850/900/1800/1900/2100MHz) support. The testing involves the Protocol Stack Testing on Infineon firmware

Worked as a software engineer in Mobile Handset Testing (Field Trials for Infineon Mobile Platform specific to
KPI & Non – KPI Tests in several cities including Tokyo (Japan).This field trial involves the testing of whole
protocol stacks compiled according to the 3GPP specifications Compliance with R99, Release 4, Release 6
(HSDPA & HSUPA), Release 7 (CPC), Multi-band (850/900/1800/1900/2100MHz) support. Testing involves the
Protocol Stack Testing on Infineon firmware.

8. TI-Neptune P2K – Sotware Validation Engine Platform Release x.x – TI Neptune P08.1.2 –
Platform (MOTOROLA)(US)
Brief project description: - This project belongs to 2G IOT testing and 3G Sanity automation for different
Motorola phones like sledge, Pico, Somerset(3G), SKARDA (3G),SHOLES. This covers the whole Protocol Stack
testing (Layer L2, L3 signaling as well as data transfer) on live network and checking interoperability with
different networks in various countries. It is based on TI chipset Linux Java (LJ) Platform, CP-OMAP,
Android and supports complete set of AT commands. Compliance with R99, Release 4, Release 6 (HSDPA &
HSUPA), Multi-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support. Complete software modules including L2, L3, RR,
GRR, MM, GMM, CC, SS, SMS, and SIM.Enhanced QoS (WAP sessions GPRS/EGPRS sessions), Packet Flow
Context Procedures, Network Identity & Time zone (NITZ).

9. Maintenance of SC-PEM-ADI-GPRS2.5/3G Protocol stack. (MEDIATEK)(UK)
Brief Project Description:-This project describes that how to integrate MMI to ADI Modem through Apex
interface. GKI interface & Complete set of AT commands. It involves maintenance of TTPCOM Protocol
stack on ADI 430&500 chipset. These chip sets are inbuilt on different mobile handsets and EVB like Atlas2H,
Leman Anvil2 and Leman Mars4.2. This project basically involves GCF validation and Regression testing with
Network simulator Agilent 8960.This project involves complete GSM Phase 2 protocol software, Multi-band
(850/900/1800/1900MHz) support - Release 99 compliance.
