27. Difficulties faced in Pakistan
• Initially edhi was subject to a lot of pressure from several quarters
on initiatindg jhoola service, and although gradually it caught on
yet there are people who still consider the idea puerile.
• Funding societied are limited to a very small scale and the funding
is unable to co-op with rate at which the foundation is developing.
• Edhi faced a threat of being kidnaped by talibans.
