PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Kern-Liebers Mexico
Product Engineer June 8, 2015 – October 8, 2015
Responsible for quotation, development and execution of new products, implementation of new fixtures in
production line, reduce time and scrap in process, tools and new product design in metal-mechanical division,
PPAP creation for new products and recertification in new plant, APQP methodology for new products
Factory and product transfer from Reynosa to Queretaro, 100% transfer of compression and torsion
spring lines in time with new tools implementation that reduce 15 % of production time.
10% cost reduction in new product quotation and reduce 30% the time response to the customers.
Bombardier Aerospace Mexico
Methods Project Engineer January 6, 2014 - January 8, 2015
Leading a group of 5 engineers in the creation and implementation of new projects, such as, demolding process
of the composites parts of pre-preg epoxy resins (carbon fiber and fiber glass), trimming process support,
analysis of painting Area, Analysis of adhesive and bounding components in fabrication area.
Design of fixtures to increase from 70 to 90% of repeatability in the process, generating less scrap.
100% upgrade of documentation and process validation of painting procedures, resulted in certification
of painting site.
Methods Configuration Team Leader April 1, 2013 – January 5, 2014
Lead the implementation, review and incorporation of changes in work instructions in First Article Inspection
stage for the new Learjet 85 monolithic configuration of composite hand lay-up materials of pre-preg epoxy
resins (carbon fiber and fiber glass); lead the planning, management and control of priorities tasks to complete
by 10 engineers in the team, as well as professional development of each team member, which ushered in new
programs packages.
Implementation of laser programming and material cutting programs of all new composites components
in timely manner with zero rejections.
Decrease 20% response time to release work instructions, developing a new organization system in the
company.
Methods Support Team Leader July 2, 2012 - March 31, 2013
Lead the production line support for Learjet 85 major components in composite hand lay-up materials of pre-
preg epoxy resins (carbon fiber and fiber glass), lead the planning and human resource management of 7
engineers in the team, production areas support, as well as process definition, manufacturing process support,
engineer’s professional development, obtaining growth and flexibility in each engineer.
2. Creation and development of 20 procedures to optimize manufacturing, which reduced 15% of lay-up
time.
Changes in process improvements and 80% laser programs missing were done for the First Test
Vehicle in timely manner; with that achievement the program complete the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) requirements to manufacture all the composites parts.
Methods Support Agent in Primary Components January 3, 2011 - Jul 1, 2012
Early in the company I was in several basic Trainings for better understanding of composite materials and work
instructions creation, responsible for production support in small and medium parts of Learjet 85, problems
development and improvements in composite hand lay-up materials of pre-preg epoxy resins (carbon fiber and
fiber glass), analysis of CATIA Models, creation of assemblies and surface in Catia V5 and Unigraphics NX5,
responsible for production support in major components of Learjet 85, problems development and creation of
assemblies and surface in Catia V5.
Montreal assignation of 3 months for manufacturing models analysis, hand Lay-up sequences creation,
tool orders creation, as well as developing work instructions.
Development of rework orders knowledge transfer of composites cured and uncured parts between
Canada and Mexico during the assignment in Montreal; as well as the creation of templates for those
reworks, what brought autonomy to Mexico site.
Incorporation of 5 improvements in composite hand lay-up materials of pre-preg epoxy resins (carbon
fiber and fiber glass), such as, hand tools, materials, procedures and analysis of CATIA Models, which
increase from 70 to 80% the quality of the parts.
