2. For our preliminary task, we didn't do any planning
or storyboarding which showed in our preliminary.
This is one of the reasons why the scenes were
unorganized and the shots varied because we didn't
even have a shot list, which meant that we filmed
random shots. From my preliminary task, I have
learnt that using a storyboard and shot list to plan
before filming is very important, and it helps to
develop our ideas. Overall I believe it is very
essential to plan before filming, it improves the
quality of your film by organizing it in a way the
audience can understand.
3. Before filming our final piece, we created a
storyboard and shot list. This affected our title
sequence positively, as we knew what shots to
shoot and when.
It also helped as guidance for our title as when
we were stuck on what to do next, we could refer
back to the storyboard so know the order we
planned for.
Planning helped the quality of our film to at a
good standard making it much better than our
preliminary task.
4. Also in our official title sequence
we worked together assigning
roles to everyone so that our work
was completed in time unlike
through the production of our
preliminary task were we all relied
on one person to edit which
resulted in many member of the
team being unhappy with the final
results.
