2. The transitions used between shots.
The fade in and outs used to emphasise fear/terror and the
flashes used to add to the action.
They liked the audio effects of the car engine rev as it sound
just like fire – I revealed I had used this effect afterwards to
see if they realised it was edited sound.
Feedback showed they liked the design of my ident and
how I incorporated it into the trailer.
They also liked the use of Trajan Pro as the main font and
how I had continued to use it across my products.
3. They disliked the repetitive music in the
background as it did not build up towards a
climax or complement the action scenes.
The lighting in some of the shots was poor and
therefore meant that the audience could not see
the actors.
4. 44 people (88%) said my trailer was effective
for attracting an audience to see the film.
47 people (94%) said the lighting detracted
from the trailer and suggested I lighten the
clips slightly to make the shots viewable and
effective.
I took the criticism to heart and re-edited the
scenes at night to still be dark but make the
actors visible.
