Question One 1 Here we see the majority pay the average amount for a magazine. Nobody pays the least amount possible or extreme expenses. This may be because customers feel if they pay less, they will receive less quality in conjunction. However this may be also because teenagers are the prime customers for a modern music magazine. And therefore they don’t have to much to spend, Because their income is limited. Also this is reliable as most music magazines sell in the price range of £3.99 - £4.99. Christian Whelan
Question Two 2 The main selling point for music magazines are shops, mainly corner shops most likely and local supermarkets. However the odd person subscribes , these are only the dedicated readers though. Showing that most teenagers buy a magazine when they feel like it. Which could possibly be never. This tells me I should focus on distributing my magazines to local shops. As 90% of participants chose shop.
Question Three 3 Here we see the average customer doesn’t buy a issue of a magazine every time they get paid weekly.
Question Four 4 Here I can see that the average potential costumer would like a new issue of any magazine they like to be produced monthly. This corresponds with the last question. Showing these results are accurate and reliable. I believe the reason for this is because my audience who are teenagers don’t have the money to purchase a new issue of my magazine every week. Therefore they would rather wait a month, and pay for a higher quality issue.
Question Five 5 Pop is the mainstream genre of music, it dominates the charts and practically anyone could like it. SO no wonder this is the most popular choice of genre. However I could flow on this result, or straw away from it, giving fans of other genres what they want. Attracting more dedicated customers. However the results show me that pop is at a great advantage in the popularity rating, so if I am to make a profit, I should listen to thesee results.
Question Six 6 The results tell me that the cover star chosen for an issue is the prime attraction into influencing customers to purchase a magazine. Therefore the higher the calibre of celebrity, the higher the profit made from the magazine. Then follows he artist names being the second most popular choice. This tells me that if a magazine name drops. Profits will follow. Finally the articles are seen to be unimportant, I believe this is because teenagers aren't bothered about qualitative information in interviews etc they just want to get straight t the point.
Question Seven 7 Reviews of Upcoming Albums seems to be a popular section of a magazine, followed by upcoming albums after all why buy a music magazine if you don’t want to learn about new and upcoming music. People want to know what they will be listening to soon, and want advice on what albums they should spend their hard earned money on. I could implement these results buy having small articles on album reviews, ad little advertisements on new albums, containing their price, date of releaseand how many stars they earned. Buy doing this I can make everyone happy as well as adding in qualitative information into the issue,
The Name Of The Magazine As these questions are simple and have no deep meaning to them, I shall not have a paragraph summarising each graph. As the graphs themselves are self explanatory.
