5. Giving Up Is
Not The
Answer
Bullying of authors is not the only problem. Authors are
attacking critics for their opinions and reviewers are being
vilified because they did not agree with fans of the authors.
The result is that many of these writers are giving up doing
what they love the most.
I know it does feel that way at first
6. There Are
Things You Can
Do To Lessen
The Impact:
Yay, Thanks!
Don't Mention It...
8. Just write for yourself &
your friends or re-brand yourself entirely.
Don’t EVER
Stop Doing
What You Love.
9. Write under a pseudonym.
Tell only your trusted fans about your new identity or
don’t tell anyone at all.

18. Block those who do not contribute to the post or
discussion. Mark them as spam so you don’t have
to deal with them or set up a filter to block
comments that contain certain words or phrases,
such as swear words.
20. Be careful as to who you give it out to.
Set up another email account
under your pseudonym
21. Filter spam and abusive emails in your main email account
the same way as your blog comments.
Or, even better, get someone else to deal with your emails!
You’re not looking to be protected from all that is going on
but just enough to help you win back your confidence.
22. Above all,
Be YOU Tina Collins
