The individual built a team to support the mobilization and readiness of 69 units and over 10,000 personnel in the North Carolina Army National Guard. They led the deployment of 977 personnel to nine countries across three Combatant Commands, executing a $3.7 million budget. As part of administering the readiness program, they supervised new equipment training covering 23 events that fielded 5925 systems and trained 1255 personnel on 50% of the requested budget. The individual was also responsible for force management, collecting and reporting unit readiness data, and developing improvement briefings on a quarterly basis.

KEYACCOMPLISHMENTS:
I built a team of Mobilization and Readiness personnel to take the North Carolina Army National Guard
into the future by effectively hiring of three highly qualified key personnel in an office of 10 personnel
upon assuming the duties of Mobilizations and Readiness Officer to support the mobilization and
readiness of 69 units and over 10,000 personnel in the organization.
I lead the state level support for deployment of 977 personnel, from 12 units, to nine different countries,
in three different Combatant Commands executing a $3.7M Budget partial due to previous experience
with deployment of teams to Afghanistan.
Administer the readiness program, taking the force into the future, I supervised the state level
employment of new equipment training (NET) that covered 23 NETs executed,fielding 5925 Systems,
and training 1255 pax on 50% of the requested budget.
I became intimately involved in force management for the state in a time of reduced force structure and
funding to support requirements due to one of the key personnel hired was the force manager and he was
in a learning phase. I supervised the collection and reporting state level unit readiness data to Department
of the Army for 69 elements and the development of improvement briefings to the State level leadership
via an Army Readiness council on a quarterly basis. Responsible for tracking all requirements and
executing force changes for 69 elements with a total personnel count of 10,250 personnel.
I was directly responsible with for developing and tracking 1 of 6 set of State Strategic organizational
goals to develop future organizational requirements in the arena of acquiring new force structure.
Engaged with senior level leadership and outside organizations in the development and acquisition of
organizational goals. Trained in development of strategic level goals through North Carolina State
University seminar. Responsible for coordinating and developing the execution of New Equipment
Training for a force of 10250 personnel in the areas to maintain the capabilities of the total force in the
North Carolina Army National Guard.
Responsible for hiring and evaluating personnel in the execution of organizational operations in the arena
of mobilization and readiness to support an organization of 69 units and 10250 personnel.
Interfaced with affected units and staff sections internal to the state and agencies external to the state were
National Guard Bureau,US Army Forces Command, Mobilizations Platforms (JMBDL,Ft. Hood, Ft.
Bliss) and 54 other state and territory MROs in performance of duties.
Completed Force Integration Readiness Officer Course to understand Force Management Concepts and
Techniques that assisted with performance of assigned duties.
Completed Unit Movement Officer, TCAIMS, and Joint Operations Personneland Equipment
Synchronization Support Course to assist with Mobilization functions.
