Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
Directly responsible for the supervision of 10 personnel in the management of
personal development, as well as overseeing pay issues for 445 Officers and
Enlisted Personnel. Flawlessly managed over 300 reporting and transferring of
personnel, 60 separations and 75 re-enlistments.
Oversaw the completion of 400 awards, 250 evaluations. Disburse all incoming

Submit all Passenger Reservation Requests (PRR) through the Transaction
Online Processing System (TOPS) to receive orders from the Defense Travel
System (DTS), as well as assisting in completing all liquidation forms upon their
return from travel. All documents were submitted within five working days.
As the Command Pay/Personnel Coordinator (CPC) ensure all documents and
information required by the command Pay/Personnel and Transportation support
were submitted through the TOPS in accordance with applicable policies
governing accuracy and timeliness standards.
Ensure that proper maintenance was conducted on all required office equipment
and compartments as well as assisted in the command weekly audit
maintenance audit to ensure overall command readiness.

entitlements and separation payments totaling over 3.7 million dollars.
Utilized automated personnel management systems such as Fleet Training
Management and Personnel System (FLTMPS), Navy Integrated Personnel
System (NSIPS), Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS)
and Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS) to update data for over 250
command Sailors.
Deployed as an Individual Augmentee as the Leading Petty Officer, Fiscal
Supervisor and Travel Manager for Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa
from December 2006 to June 2007. Trained and mentored 4 junior personnel in
all aspects in the fiscal, travel, and pay procedures. Accountable for managing a
$7 million budget, including over $5 million in cash. From my leadership of travel
claim processing went from a 10 day turnaround down to less than 5 days with
an unprecedented 99% accuracy rate. Audited and disbursed over 2,400 claims
worth $2.5 million dollars.
Took on the difficult task in eliminating a significant backlog of permanent change
of station and temporary duty travel claims for the Southeast Region. Assembled
thousands of backlogged claims that were liquidated within a two month period
and significantly decreased hardship for service members.
