PACOM Operations Officer 04/08 – 11/08
KEYACCOMPLISHMENTS:
I diligently managed the Army National Guard program and successfully executed over $3M in pay and
allowances by sending more than 3,000 Soldiers supporting 28 different training events, exercises and
mission support efforts in the PACOM AOR.
Before being recalled to deploy to Iraq with my State National Guard organization I assisted the Army
National Guard with preparation for Fiscal Year 10 by assuming the lead planning role in the Army
National Guard Training Resourcing Opportunities Sourcing Conference (TROS-C).
As lead planner for the TROS-C I coordinated all efforts and ensured this capstone event for the branch
was an unparalleled success. Furthermore,I fully integrated the Operations and Readiness Divisions, 12
different branches, into one seamless conference,a previously unattempted feat. This was directly related
to the experience that I had developed from my assignment as the Operations Division Executive Officer
in my assignment prior.
Upon arrival into the Overseas Deployment Branch of 6 positions only 3 positions were currently filled
with one of the vacancies being the Branch Chief. Being the senior rank in the Branch I assume most of
the responsibility to lead the Branch until a Chief was named.
With the use of my excellent analytical skills I consolidated the training funding requirements for the
branch and provided the information to the division to demand further funding for the Overseas
Deployment Training program requesting a total of $28M for the program for FY10 training year. This
made future ARNGTheater Security Cooperation efforts more successfulbecause of my hard work and
dedication.
