1. The development of our poster
How our poster has changed and
developed over time
2. Initial ideas based on other similar
products
• When browsing the internet for other examples of
drama posters we found certain trends that were
prominent in generic drama movie posters.
• 1. most dramatic movies centre around a key
character and the struggles and emotional arch's of
them in the movie because of this a lot of posters
have the main character in the centre of the it.
• The title of the movie is either at the top or the
bottom the poster in a bold font that is usually in
all capital letters
3. Our initial concept
• We decided to follow this formula in many ways but changed a
multitude of features to make it more unique to our film.
• We decided the follow the some of the conventions of the
drama movie poster formula such as us deciding to put
Neihm’s in the centre of the poster as it is about her struggles
as a foster child.
4. Our final concept
• This is our final product and it was more fleshed out when we
finally finished it.
• We kept the initial idea and layout of the poster in tact and
kept the simplistic idea there instead of over complicating the
aesthetics of the poster.
• We decided our font later on and
we found one that we felt fit the
films style.
