Hispania REIT/SOCIMI was floated in March 2014 with €550m in equity by independent fund manager Azora.
In addition to her role at Hispania, Ms. García-Peri is head of corporate development for Azora. She previously
worked with Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan where she started her career in investment banking. She held vari-
ous positions in MA and was MD responsible for corporate equity derivatives EMEA and equity capital mar-
kets Spain and Portugal. She holds a B.A. in Economics from ICADE and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
THOMAS EZIO BONETTI Speaker
Managing Partner, Durendal Ventures, New York, Miami, Marbella
A private equity and advisory group with its European affiliate based in Marbella. Durendal’s activities in-
clude real estate, MA, broker/dealer, and consulting. Mr. Bonetti’s career began in Silicon Valley, later serv-
ing in senior management with Verizon (NY, Hong Kong, Rome, Brussels). Thereafter directing a private eq-
uity firm in Monte Carlo, including a JV with the George Soros Group and Monaco’s Sovereign Wealth Fund.
